We have a tough draw but so be it. However I would like to have a big whinge and that is about Geelong. They play interstate sides 4 times there. Gws, eagles, sydney and Adelaide. They play 5 games with melbourne clubs and guess who they are. Us,dogs, saints, north and the new kid on the block Carlton. Well that is just bloody typical. They play 2 home games at the MCG against Hawthorn and Essendrug. They shouldn't get any home games at the MCG.

It is not the decision to rotate the games but we will playing 2 away games on anzac eve and QB. that is where the problem lies but as soon as Eddie starts barking up a tree the AFL bend over to him.

So we play both anzac eve and QB as away games next year. Sorry but that sucks.

Correct. You can throw StKilda, North and Footscray into that mix but not all of those 4 sides will playdown there in 1 year. Maybe 3. If Geelong are getting 9 home games at Kardinia then they must be playing a lot of interstate clubs there which will only help their home ground advantage. Out of 9 games they may play a minimum of 5 interstate sides with the other 4 being against the above mentioned. They are given the biggest home town advantage of any club in the AFL and it stinks.

And you can be sure we will play the cats once and it will be in Geelong.

We have to take in account the filths Eddie banging on about the QB game being a Mellbourne home game and how they want it rotated. From tjis I understand Melbourne agrees but want to play a home game if we play away to Richmond on ANZAC eve. Home to Richmond and away to the filth. Next year we play away to Richmond so will want home against the filth which will get Eddie screaming in his pants. The best solution to this is to play away to the filth in rd1 which should get a decent crowd. This may keep Eddie at bay for another year.

And we complained of accepting unders for him.

Yes I agree with that. If melbourne are a chance to be a premiership contender say for next year and he is a contracted player for 1 more year then why go to a shizen side without much hope of playing finals. I really don't think he gives a stuff about success. Had a tough year last year but was still here this year. Strange cat indeed. I am sus that some players didn't quite appreciate him as well. I remember the Jones and Lever talks of him leaving. Something was not quite right.
