There are 2 things that may favour us this weekend. The smaller ( wing size ) ground will limit the amount of outside carrying the ball. Secondly the new players at geelong are likely to be more down this week after last weeks heroics. I wouldn't be putting my house on that though. Unfortunatley I think we will be waiting another week.

That is probably the most important problem currently facing the MFC.

We all saw Viney on saturday, Nothing more need be said. Thursday evening will have some interest.

Besides Gawn there are 4 players to use in the middle. Oliver, Brayshaw, Harmes and Viney. One of them can be benched when needed. On saturday I saw young Sparrow in the middle and was wondering why. I know Viney was out of sorts but a first gamer ?

I put us finishing 8th. Think I was being overly generous. We are way too slow and have argued this before. We have no crummers and yes Garlett is flakey and always has been. We miss Hannan. I have lent some weight in favour of Frost and OMAC but after yesterday I just can't May will come in and I would bring in Petty. We need a back up for Max. Keilty looks a better player than Pruess. Left at 1/2 time. Box hill player was down for about nearly 1/2 an hour. They had to wait for an ambulance This is why it took so long. Not even a mobile carry off stretcher to get on the ground to pick him up. As for our players well Keilty was playing well as was petty in the backline. Pruess okay centre bounces but nothing else. KK was okay and reads the play well. agner was good as well. We were 3 11 to their 9 2. Can't kick straight.

I am still peezed off at yesterdays game. At the end of the day we lacked any hunger for the contest. We rolled over. Gawn looked spent or even like he was ill from 1/4 time onwards. He needs a back up and at this stage whether it is Kielty or Pruess I don't know. Put max down the forward line more often. This doesn't however solve our lack of pace. We can only work with what we have so I can only think of Baker when ready and maybe KK. Oh and on our forwards can TMAC pull his finger out. The weed tried but if he has to relief ruck all the time it ain't going to help. We had both TMAC and the weed on the bench in the last quarter.
