Harsh but fair...

And he's right about this.
Ah getting testy so you still don't want to answer, here's the solution. 1. Don't reply ever. 2. Block me.
-
And he's right about this.
So you didn't answer my question that's OK...
-
And he's right about this.
Ok I will explain this another way, you start a business and had a business plan in place in place made money then the following two years you are losing money and you have an idea why what do you do? A Keep doing the same thing over and over again. B Look at the why you are losing money and change the way you do business. So what would you do? Yes injuries didn't help but if you don't have those players you make changes such as don't bomb it boundary side when you don't have a high marking option you try and move the pill around till it opens up, just remember Goodwin has acknowledged that it is a problem you cannot deny that. As mush as I hate stats with a passion we had 37 more inside 50's than the pies and lost and you don't think there is a problem with connection with the forward line?
-
And he's right about this.
It's been a problem for two years the coach admits it, so tell me how they have tried to make it work when you have a game plan that's down the line play and contest to contest. That's not to say McAdam who can take a mark that could help but you have to ask why he was not a regular in the crows side.

Targeting Max
There are only a handful of ruckman who trouble Max as they don't like to wrestle but jump into him, it also his fault for not changing the angles and that's the problem. And speaking of ruck play it's a disgrace they have aloud this grappling before the ball is thrown in or ball ups I know it suits us but it's a blight on the game time to weed it out.
-
And he's right about this.
Look Mc Adam when fit might help with the problem he can take a mark and leads ok from what I have seen of him, the problem being is the how we bring it into the forward line and space given.

And he's right about this.
Well maybe read his article again...
-
And he's right about this.
Unfortunately some players are like that, Watts was another, you cannot instil that behaviour into someone unless they want to.
-
And he's right about this.
I suggest you better start reading people's post then, people on here refuse to see there is a problem and plenty of them, and yes people watch the game with rose coloured glasses.
-
And he's right about this.
I disagree with you a little about the players bit, Schache biggest problem and he alluded to it is he has no dog in him, he crashed a few packs Thursday night but not really hard so to speak.
-
And he's right about this.
Good to see someone else who looks at a game with open eyes.
-
And he's right about this.
So when Goodwin has said there was for the last two years he has no idea either?
-
And he's right about this.
Well you know what the say about opinions.....
-
And he's right about this.
Because we are slow learners?
-
And he's right about this.
Except ours has been for the last two years.
-
And he's right about this.
Here is the thing, people only read and see one thing but not the rest of the article, if people here don't think we have had a forward line issue even after Goodwin has admitted it for the last two years then remove the red and blue eye patches to watch the game.
-
And he's right about this.
So if you have not read the article then how can you comment?
-
And he's right about this.
Well I guess you didn't read the article properly then..
-
And he's right about this.
I along with others have been banging on about this for the last two years hope someone is reading this at Melbourne. https://www.sen.com.au/news/2024/03/09/they-were-impotent-why-do-melbourne-refuse-to-address-their-biggest-flaw/

NON-MFC: Opening Round
I have just heard the dumbest thing in football by Gary Lyon, Yze would be looking at his midfield coach and say sort this out, Jesus he's the head coach if he's seeing it he should make the change not rely on someone else.

POSTGAME: Opening Round vs Sydney
Well that was interesting to watch, some conclusions with this game, we are one skilled quick midfielder short, River's, ANB and Sparrow are not quick thinking and rush themselves when under pressure, Salem won't last all season in the midfield not because he's not skilled but because he is not an endurance runner and the forward entries changed instead of high ball in the pocket it was high ball in the middle, even May kicked out to the right that was a shock. Now it's only the first game and we should wait to see if it's a transitional thing with a new midfield coach regarding set-ups but when are they going to realise Max struggles against anyone who runs or jumps into him, time to change tack in how he sets up against those type of ruckman. We at times transitioned the ball well and then we had no clue how to do it to create the overlap and create fast play. Now I'm not big on Schache he has skills but lacks of dog in his play, but he at least tried to make a contest and with the type of delivery and how it was done is going to be hard to for any forward but would like to see how McAdam and Fullarton go first. But gee the game plan had the same old feel about it but I always wait till around 5-7 rounds when the intensity drops off a little with teams.
