  1. Well need a quick skilled type midfielder we are a one paced midfield...mind you i would give McVee a crack in there.
  2. I doubt that I will agree with you on football matters but on this 100%, well done for bringing to the forefront of peoples minds but at least more men are getting tested every year.
  3. I think going after these three players the club might believe it's no use picking another forward line player or they believe by the time they have their pick none will be available, we also need a quick sized midfielder as we are one paced and need that quickness around the ground. I will interested to see how Langdon and Hunter play their role, both players played boundary side more often than not, which made it hard to become that link type player around the ground for using the corridor for players through the corridor. Regarding you are right about JVR at his age he just needs help not being the main object he just needs to have the 2nd or 3rd defender and stop the 2 on 1 scenarios on him to allow him some more freedom to develop.
  4. Must admit don't know much about McAdam or Fullarton and have only seen the out takes, but but both seem to be one grab players which is a plus, Fullarton might be a better option for Max to work with and as for Billings if fit will be a bonus would imagine Chandler or Spargo will miss out for him.
  5. Rubbish answer, we needed outside speed in the midfield all year and he wasn't used for long periods in games and there is a reason for that he's not built for it take the pace aspect out of it he's not a contested footballer, not a contested mark type and not a high disposal footballer he is an impact player who can turn a quarter but can drift out of the game just as quick. If Goodwin really believed that Kossie could play midfield in every game he would have and he didn't so that must tell you something but I guess not.
  6. Well that's your opinion fair enough but if as you say he has the tank how come Goodwin didn't play him in the midfield during the season in long game time role?
  7. Have to disagree on Kossie he is not a midfielder nor will he ever be one it's fine for short bursts but he does not have the Tank to do it all day he's made for a speed type impact player, don't you think Goodwin would have done it last year if was a midfielder type. Try McVee into the midfield as we are one paced in there, Turner to the back flank.
  8. Cranbourne Amish country Jesus, it's Crimebourne way past that.
  9. It's not a case of just building up it is more about how to learn the forward craft at this level that's why we need to a person who knows about it for the younger players before they get into bad habits.
  10. Gee I wonder where SEN got that from....lol
  11. Fritta yes JVR no don't know much about the new recruit, if the forward line can function as it should you can play both Melk won't be there and I hope kossie watch Hill, Elliot and Greene play the small man like in 21 it's a bonus.
  12. Ok please explain why you cannot play both?
  13. Would give McVee a go in the midfield myself, pace, good skills and good temperament.
  14. How true, people wanted Tmac in and what happed nothing he's cooked, the staggering part of the finals and I nearly fell over was Goodwin when asked why Josh was not used in the final was Tmac brought the ball to the ground, well that was going to happen anyway because of way the delivery of the ball into the forward line. Would have been better to have given Josh a crack anything could have happened as Tmac did nothing that is poor coaching imo when the game needed to be won.
  15. Fritsch only on dry dry days, no good in the wet because it makes his hair a mess.....
  16. No forward line issue not sure what games you have been watching but it was the reason we were bundled out in straight sets two years in a row, and the struggles throughout the year with it....
  17. Jesus mate put your head down for the incoming......lol
  18. Not in Melbournes favour is your opinion not Melbournes thinking I have not cast him off but if it's a business and clubs treat it that way now more and likely he will stay.
  19. Pretty well said, sometimes Cornes just says somethings at times for the sake of it but he is right here if a deal is in Melbournes favour then yes if not no it's pretty simple.
  20. Well a game plan going into the forward line would be a start....
  21. Oh i'm sure our forward line coach will teach him well, have we got one yet?
  22. Speak for yourself.....
  23. Don't know much about the man myself so I ask unlike the weed and josh who have the skill but no C in them does Tom have that ingredient in him at all?
  24. Did we draft a forward line coach I hope so..
