I just feel he isn’t that player. He’s a Hogan/Reiwoldt type, and to get the best value out of him we need him in that 50 line as much as possible.
He's a ripper. I liken him to Reiwoldt (Richmond version) in that he's slightly undersized as a key forward, but gives a serious contest every time.
Thankfully he's not a DH like Reiwoldt.

What's with the Aussie players wearing board shorts ... Kokkinakos and Purcell?

Gus was having a great season until taken out by that dog Maynard, a fit firing Angus Brayshaw makes us a much more talented and better team. Good luck in 2024 Gus.!!
Nah, I think 'that disgusting piece of filth' is more accurate.

I recently (again) watched the 2021 GF.
Gus' performance was off the charts!!

2024 ... certain premiers!
What could possibly go wrong?

I was at the tribute match too.
Like others, it was one of the most emotional experiences I've ever had.
Troy last game was a sign of what may have been. Too too sad.

I’d love to see Josh flourish if for no other reason than so as he won’t be remembered (by Dees fans) only as the unused sub. That’d be doing him a great disservice and isn’t what defines him.
I think poor James Jordon (aka Jordan Jones) is the definitive unused sub.

To be fair, Lever and May bark instructions at everyone. 😂 Ricky in particular looks ill at ease if he’s not tearing someone a new one.
Lever = next MFC captain.

I live NE of the city, but I'm fine with a Caulfield training/social facility.
The proposal of a training oval at Yarra Park would be way more convenient for me, but apparently there is little prospect of that happening.
I'm sure that will have a significant impact on the Club's planning.

Maynard is a disgusting piece of filth. Is that going overboard?
The AFL did what they needed to do to get him off the charge.
My anger remains unabated.

My (late) parents were migrants. They had less than zero interest or knowledge of AFL (VFL at that time).
As a little tacker, I apparently had a beanie that had red + blue colours on it. (It wasn't specifically a Demons beanie.) I was asked from time to time whether I barracked for Melbourne. My simplest option was to say yes.
I guess that was in 1966, but the first GF I can remember was 1968. Prior to 2021, it was pretty slim pickings.
My 3 children all barrack for Melbourne, with relative (but reasonable) degrees of enthusiasm.
My firstborn married a Carlton supporter. I didn't put pressure on my daughter to ensure that their daughter (my granddaughter) barracks for MFC. So she will no doubt barrack for Carlton. In all likelihood, her father will take her to many more matches than I'm likely to; for various reasons ... decrepitude and/or death.

If you were very old, you would know that that comment should be directed to Joyce (aka Rosie Sturgess).
I am old*, but it was slightly before my time.
I think I need to adjust my medication.
*but I am happy

I dislocated my shoulder while body surfing at Palm Beach a few years.
I didn't require rescuing.
Don't worry though ... I survived.

Jeff 'Skunk' Baxter and Michael McDonald say hi.
Personally I can't stand the Michael McDonald (yacht rock) version. Yeah, yeah, I know they won a Grammy with What a Fool Believes. While it's ultra slick, I can't stand it!!
