Stop posting about Jack Watts? NEVER !!! This could be a season where there is no standout team, and someone could effectively "pinch" a flag. Adelaide did that in the 90s. Dees could have pinched the big one. Beat the Crows by about 45 points in the finals that year ... (Can't remember the year.) If only !! The only Melbourne GFs I can remember (and went to) are 1988 and 2000. No hope in either. Poos/wees and Drug cheats were virtually unbeatable in those years.

I didn't expect a break out year. I have supported MFC since 1968. I expect very little. e.g. I expected MFC to lose to the filth last year (Round 23) and even for Max to miss that shot v Geelong in Round 1. So when something unexpected happens (e.g. beating Adelaide last year) I am pleasantly/genuinely surprised. Unfortunately these happenings are all too rare.

There are very divided opinions on JL. I'm sorry to say that I'm on the side that thinks he has played poorly this season.

The references to Sydney, Geelong, Richmond are ridiculous. They at least had credibility before the quoted losses. Sydney had played finals for years and years. Geelong too. Richmond played finals in 2013/2014/2015. When did MFC last play finals?

Deplorable performance. No upside. Well, other than the fact that I put $40 on Poos & Wees at the ridiculous odds of $2.20, so I won $44. Disgraceful. Wasted an afternoon watching that soulless, clueless, insipid, unskilled "performance". I'm regretting buying 2 reserved seats for the Anzac eve match. It will be carnage.

Agreed. Other than - Point of order LH. The goal v Essendon wasn't after the siren. After he kicked the goal, there was a centre bounce and about another 60 seconds of the match. I was there. Couldn't actually watch him taking the kick, but have watched the replay dozens of times !!!!

Finey lost the plot somewhere along the way IMHO. I used to quite like him, but stopped listening to him a couple of years ago. He became way too belligerent, opiniated and aggressive/disrespectful to callers who dared to disagree with him. Have a bex and a lie down Finey, and enjoy spending more time with you family.
