  1. Well bringing in Lewis and Hibberd while Melksham coming back is going to change this a lot. Enjoyed our baby demons but it's hard not to expect bigger things for 2017 with a harder and more mature crew that should be again more consistent. FB: Oscar. Frost. Jetta HB: Hibberd T Mac Melksham C: Vince. Viney Hunt HF: Petracca Hogan Kent FF: Garlett Weid Watts R: Gawn Jones Lewis Int: Brayshaw, Oliver, Tyson, Salem, Stretch, Pedo?? Who knows. Probably forgot a few. Bit of a challenge trying to squeeze all the players in but I'm happy we are no longer the babies.

Glad to hear if this is the case and hopefully he comes back stronger and keen. I think H is one of those 'cherry on top' players. Will look better as we do and adds a very important ingredient in leg speed. I would still find a spot on a back flank if he gets back to his best so not issues in holding him whilst contracted even though he's clearly a different cat. Hopefully this would see Hunt unleashed on a wing also

I really can't imagine a WA born and bred kid who's already a superstar of the comp wanting to move across the country. It feels like more of a gentle nudge/threat to ensure that he does receive the best possible deal from Freo going forward and for him not to be taken advantage of financially for being loyal. Surprised when I read he was a massive tiges fan growing up who hated the dockers and didn't want to go there when he was drafted. Still, can't see him ever leaving there now. He's a local superstar

I agree with ANB and Trenners being straight in if injury occurs. I'm a fan of both and feel ANB will offer more going forward especially seeing the amount of ball he gets at present. I'm guessing that these two could be on the block during the off season as they both offer some decent currency. More than Grimes and Dawesy anyway. I wouldn't like to lose ANB or Trenners but would have no hesitation if trading them got us back in the high end of the draft or helped us jag a key position defender. Its a ruthless game building a quality list

You were right in him re-signing with them but it wasn't done more than a few days back.

Sorry monoccular didnt see the response. He was there prior to all the dank issues. He is still very close mates with Hurley as well. Edit - spelling

I can promise you i have a better source and he definitely hasn't signed there. Brisvegas are offering a wonderful deal for him which crows wont be that close but imo he will stay loyal to Adelaide. Probably just delaying it hoping a few more $$. He should go north imo. Was a rookie at the bombers and signed for peanuts to get on a list at the crows and he needs to make some serious hay while the sun is shining and its shining brighter up north.

Based on previous years highlights packages I thought Sam Blease was going to be greatest footballer to ever wear the red and blue. Those unbelievable runs and that beautiful leg that was on display in the two minute package was just delightful. Don't even start me on the 'complete' player that could play everywhere in big bustling Cale Morton as well. Another great highlights package if I remember correctly. I'm on Parish and Curnow for this draft. I could add some merit behind this but I'd be lying as I haven't seen either play. I just like there hair
  9. Is anyone else secretly hoping we may be delaying this for one last crack at Treloar?
  10. Agree. Especially when (hopefully) its another weak draft. Other than 2013 its a lot more miss than hit so I don't mind giving the pick the flick for a ready made player who will start round 1. Historical picks 25-29 2011. Seb Ross, Todd Elton, Sam Kerridge, Fraser McIness, Alex Forster 2012. Spencer White, Viney (f/s), James Stewart, Tim O'Brien, Tom Clurey 2013. Daniel McStay, Zac Merrett, Sean Lemmons, Lewis Taylor 2014. Daniel Nelson, Toby McLean, Lukas Webb, Dillon Viojo Rainbow
  11. I'm at the draft camp now having a look and wow Petracca is a unit! Has that big backside big leg look and looks very sharp. I'd put some photos up but feel like a creep taking them

Thanks WJ, its a good read to get an understanding. Will be interesting what the Lions are putting up to offer here. Surely you would think they would be chasing Dayne more than Paddy with there existing ruck supplies. If they jag Beams they will be quite a handy outfit next year
  13. If you want to have some real dirty thoughts Vibes imagine remarkably: 1. Frawley and Clark stay, play a full year at the previous best 2. We trade pick 2 and a Toump for Danger 3. Trade our third rounder for Labamba (second rounder for Stretch) 4. Pick of Malceski in the PSD FB Frawley Dunn Nev HB Malceski McDonald Harry O C Watts Danger Viney HF Howe Dawes Salem FF Hogan Clark JKH R: Jamar Jones Tyson pine Trenners, Gawn, Cross, Kent, Grimes, Garland and whoever else I have probably forgot Now that is touching yourself material!
  14. I'm not sure who in the house likes him more, Miss Deeko or myself. This worries me as I like him a lot!

I remember this game, it was against Bendigo when they were really struggling. It was good he jagged a couple but he wasn't great in the game. Magner had approximately 268 touches if I remember correctly. I remember 1 game in his first year where he had a cracker picking up nearly 30 touches from the centre. I thought we had picked a winner and was excited at things to come. Last year however he played on a flank for most of the year and he looked lost in a few games I watched. The recruiting of Magner & Couch probably didn't help his chance to get back into the guts either. He was one who I could have understood both if we decided to keep him or cut him loose. I still wouldn't be surprised if we see him on a list again in the future.
  16. If we were going to re-draft a never was we mind as well have taken Heath Scotland. At least he was a has been and still might influence a couple games next year

I think people should back off the kid. He is the least of our worries and will he a little inconsistent for hos first couple years. Its expected. Have a look at the so called father son prodigy in Daniher tonight. Didn't get near it or even get near a contest. Be patient, I know its hard with what we have been through but he will get there

Pointless in comparing as they are completely different players. Its like comparing Swan to Pendles where Swan gets it usually more times but Pendles is far more damaging. I'm hoping this is how the two play out in the future. Olly is a tough, relentless and courageous. I have seen him all the way from juniors in echuca. He is also however a butcher by foot and makes some shadey decisions. His type are a lot more common than a class act of Jimmy. Still I love the way Olly goes about his footy. However ill alway love jimmy more as he is ours. Lets get around him!
