  1. Been flying the flag out the front since Gawn kicked us into top spot. Thursday night the missus takes delight in telling me a geelong poster had appeared on the front fence across the road. "Meh .... The Demons will rip that down for me tomorrow night." Was gone before I even got outta bed sat'day morning. How sweet it was.
  2. Brownlow - Oliver. 1st goal - Brown. GF winner - Melbourne 52pts. Norm Smith - Oliver.
  3. I'll be by myself watching the game so I don't miss a second of the best team in the comp in full beast mode. Dogs won't know what hit 'em.
  4. Loved Gawn giving out high 5s to the trainers when he got back to the middle.
  5. Goody copped abit of flack for spending big on defenders Lever and May. Paying off big time.
  6. They've got the chance. Now they've gotta take it. And they'll do it with both hands. It'll be the best team in the competition unleashing all the weapons. And we've got plenty.
  7. Spent the whole year on top of the ladder. Beat every-one. Strong all over the ground. Just put together the best game I've seen a Melbourne side play Goin' in absolutely red hot and just gotta do what we've done all year on GF day. Show every-one why they finished on top. And they will. And it will be glorious.
  8. We're gonna choke these fools to death just like everybody else. Kick straight and we'll run over them.
  9. 2 weeks time. Bulldogs won't know what hit 'em.
  10. Bulldogs it is.
  11. 5 things that would have made this game perfect. Brown kicking the 1st instead of hitting the post. Petracca nailing his on the run from 50 when on a roll in the 2nd. Harmes kicking the goal after his speccy. May not getting hurt. And it wasn't the grand final. Other than that ..... I've been buzzing all day. That game was one for the ages. Go the Demons
  12. I would be confident until I got on Demonland. Reading posts I'd get anxious. Turn it off and the confidence came back. Kick straight next game and we take the flag. And if we do it'll be a flogging.
  13. Win next game and it'll erase everything.
  14. That was the most enjoyable game I've ever watched. A win for the ages. I tell ya what ....They boys are gonna take some stoppin'. Magical night for Demons everywhere. Amazing highlight reel. https://www.afl.com.au/video/675863/highlights-melbourne-v-geelong?videoId=675863&modal=true&type=video&publishFrom=1631277915001
  15. What a quarter. Unbelievable.
  16. Great 1st half. Break came at a good time. Time to Re-set and bury these fools.
  17. Leave May off.
  18. Sorry Cats. The Demons are inevitable.
  19. I'm confident but by the time they bounce the ball Friday night I'll be a mess. The way I see it the only way we'll lose is if we tighten up and fail to take our opportunities in front of goal. The boys will come out and stamp their authority I reckon. They've been thinking about these finals the whole year proven to me by Tomlinsons devastation when he did his knee. He knew then what he may be missing and the whole side is absolutely primed to go. The boys are on a mission and this flag will not be dropped by complacency.
  20. Not sure if he was an Australian representative but he's definitely handy with the gloves. As is Melksham. Melksham reckons both Jetta and Viney are scary too.
  21. And yet you've spent more time arguing than anyone here.
