Tough gig. I do that but find I'm just as likely to exchange barbs with one of our own "supporters" who continually bag and hate our players. Usually those who do it at the top of their lungs.

This is a team that wants to win. I doubt the thought even entered their minds. Gotta go for the goal. Thumping it over the goal line is for when the scores are level and you want to eek out a win.

I had a dose of MFCSS last night. With our knack of running into clubs who dominated their eras in Grand Finals. Hawthorn in the late 80's and Essendon in 2000 Had a premonition of us running into Richmond in this years. A team which has won 3 of the last 4. I don't care how they're going ATM. That dragon will take some slaying.

If that's the case I'd suggest Ed chose the location of his castle poorly. I do know a couple of blokes that travel back and forth from work for an hr each way and don't mind it. They like to wind down after work they say. But they're in the bush on country roads. Not the rat race you're dealing with down there.

Seeing were on top of the ladder we should be able to do what we want like all ladder leaders that have proceeded us.

I've been noticing another variant to this. The other day I saw one of our players (possibly Pickett) tackled to the ground by one of the opposition and the next 2 players to pile on and keep the ball locked in were ours. I know the ball was in our forward line but .... Sheesh.

Yeah, can't remember who 'cause I don't really give a fork but I'm sure we have a bunch of scalps. There was often opposition upheaval after loses to us.

Wasn't long ago when Hardwick was on the verge of tears during post game interviews. Now he smacks of arrogance and thinks he's the font of all knowledge. If he didn't have Dusty Martin he wouldn't even be there.

Can honestly say I've never been so relaxed watching us play. Trusting the game plan and commitment of the players to get it done. But come finals time I'll be a forkin' mental case.

Reckon half the problem is the opposition are close enough during the game to think they're in it. Would prefer to stomp our authority early and erase any hope they have of an upset. Break their hearts and take the fight out've them.
