  1. Gawd, we've been shockingly bad over the years with our seasons decending into complete garbage. Yeah, we're going ok ATM but fork. How quickly we forget.
  2. When the dogs won their flag Stringer and Libba turned up for a school clinic up here in the bush during the following pre-season. Anyway, I asked if I could take a pic while my mate who is a mad bulldog supporter went over to shake his hand. Stringer blew him off and couldn't even look him in the eye. I knew there and then the bloke was a total [censored].
  3. Bordering on racist ..... So you're bordering on being offended on behalf of others?
  4. You've put too much thought into it. All boils down to one thing. Players have other exploits in mind. It's snow season .... Duh.
  5. And TBH Jack Reiwoldts mark this year was one of the best I've seen I reckon.
  6. Damn right they do. Playstation, Xbox and PC gaming.
  7. The club has given me plenty of adversity training over the years. Probably why I'm so good at jumping at shadows. Ya know what. It doesn't look like Clarry knows where the gym is. I'd like him to put abit more work into his own frame before we worry about Trac looking after him. And You need the aggressive mindset to be an enforcer. Doubt Petracca has it.
  8. While top spot is nice for bragging rights it doesn't often end up in a premiership. Top 4 will do me nicely. Being injury free and being in form at the right time is far more important.
  9. I kinda do. Let 'em get their own fricken towel. Pampered princesses that they are. As for pushing the trainer away. Not on IMO. Total disrespect. Not hard to tell 'em "It's right." and jog on.
  10. No-one has said that. He's a lead up forward who takes the ball at the highest point. And then kicks straight for goal. We could use one of those.
  11. Whether this year is better than 2004 is yet to be decided.
  12. You might deserve it. But I forken don't.
  13. We can all scoff but the big clubs know a big loud supporter base is like having a 2-3 goal tail wind.
  14. Singin' my song man. Posted in a thread the other day how attending a game is a 700k round trip for me. I've turned up plenty of times when the players haven't. Gets old and makes the drive home real long. Have found if I stay home and watch on TV and we're stinking it up I can go out the backyard with the radio and not waste all my day. I've also seen plenty of games where our crowd is very quiet early only to rouse late game. By product of watching us capitulate too often I reckon. Wish it wasn't like that but it is. I said to my young bloke one game "Gets loud doesn't it." "Yeah, but it's always the other team." was his reply. Broke my heart. Saving grace was taking the kids to see us in the finals in '19 with huge pro Melbourne crowds. Hannan kicking his goal right infront of us was off the richter scale. Cherished memories. "Melbourne fans breath it in." ❤️
  15. Oh no. Lost one. The sky is falling.
  16. I agree. But can't just expect the backline to hold the joint together every week though. Haven't seen any officiant consistent footy from the mids or forwards for weeks. That would be helpful.
  17. Cause thats how Goodwin wants the forward line to operate. Scamble it forward somehow and then scramble a goal.
  18. Won't be long and I'm off to watch a mate play rugby. Will listen to the carnage on the radio and quietly stew.
  19. Nah, drove from Pakenham to Tooradin on a weekday. Was probably dealing with peak traffic time too. Maybe 4-5pm. And spent a few days a couple times recently doing the tourist stuff around the Geelong area. And that was summer holiday time, latest was New Years Eve. As I said, found it much nicer than the other side. Still a heap of people around but felt it'd be much quieter off peak.
  20. Is Hurley still there? Their mids are small, get plenty of ball but do little damage. They've got a couple promising young talls. How quickly they come on will dictate how they go over the next couple years. And my Essendon analysis is on the strength of watching their one game against us. If they we're playing in my front yard I'd set my pig dog on 'em and then draw the curtains.
