  1. Said the same thing to a bloke at work today. But that doesn't stop me thinking as a club we got sucked into drinking the bathwater again. Cause that's in our culture. As is losing games when we're favourites. And from Premiers to out in straight sets is a Melbourne thing to do. I'm just thankful now that Fritta kicked those 2 in a minute during the 3rd in the granny last year. We were so close to a GF choke it wasn't funny.
  2. That would be preferable to being behind her giant head 🤣
  3. Dunno, if I want a moron with an artificial noise maker behind me all game either.
  4. Couldn't care less about NBA, Horse racing , cricket or tennis myself.
  5. Dunno man. That was a pretty Melbourne like result. Spent the year swanning around as reigning premiers and then bundled out straight sets after squandering leads .... Again. Not gonna shake the mentally weak tag continually doing stuff like that.
  6. Well .... We all wondered whether 2018 was an aberration. Now we're gonna find out if 2021 was one. As for Goodwin going to work on our forward entries during the off season don't hold your breath. We've been punching out poor conversion rates for years and he's done nothing. And yes ... Even last year.
  7. Comes to your personnel/execution. We have bugger all players who can actually kick. Which is why they all go the long bomb dump kick. Less pressure than the hit up.
  8. Mix of all 3. Just terrible F50 entries, poor shot conversion and the backs panic when it's coming in low and fast. The opposition also learnt that if they kept the pressure on ... We'd crumble. And we crumbled mentally worst in the last 2 games proven by the stupid late game frees and 50's.
  9. 100% Not only that. We wait for the pocket to fill up with players (both ours and theirs) before they do get it dumped on their heads.
  10. You're right. Those close games we lost throughout the season the opposition wanted it more and celebrated accordingly. But I'm both content we won one last year and not as ruthless in my thinking either TBH.
  11. The 2 in the 2nd had me raging. I predicted the 1st one but when another one went though for the same stupid handball inside 50 ..... 🤬
  12. If they keep kicking to the pockets next year I'll Spew Up!
  13. And I wouldn't trust 'em as far as I could kick 'em.
  14. Find me one. Other than Meghan forken Markle.
  15. No-one is gonna file any lawsuit over a random post on some random forum with limited views. An expensive exercise in futility.
  16. Brent Moloney would've loved this game plan. Get ball, close eyes, boot ball.
  17. Coupla things. 1. Why would we help Collingwood relieve salary cap space? Keep the pressure up both on field and off. They wanna give De Goey 3.2M or whatever ... Just let 'em keep digging. 2. Haven't heard a peep from either Jackson or Grundy. These media parasites with nothing better to do than make sheet up seem to think they're league wide list managers.
  18. I wouldn't hold your breath. The forward line entries have been woeful for years.
  19. His kicking has always been overrated IMO. Good kicks kick 50meter bullets, not 20m lollipops.
  20. Well, if Melksham wants a last hurrah premiership he went the wrong way about it last night. And ANB is a momentum killer of the highest order. Always appreciated his work rate but his blunders are numerous and costly.
  21. People can argue all they like but we've been a quiet supporter base for as long as I can remember. We can make some noise when things are going our way but disappear into our shells if they aint. Having said that ... Start of the last, 2 goals in it, all on the line - Kick a forken goal. Collingwood would've and lit their ferals up.
  22. Well, not alot went right that game. Sydney took their chances. We squandered ours. Petracca banged up. 3 goals from 50's. Harmes in trouble.
