Gotta admit. I loved watching him play well during the finals series. He copped alot of sheet during his career with his terrible goal kicking and brain fades. I wanted the big goofy spud to come good and rip those games apart. Hated when they played us tho'. Often managed to "come good" during those too.

We're good at turning the game into a dull scrap. Very good.

I'd suggest participation rates dropping across the board might have something to do with it. Half the kids these days would rather stay home on the Playstation. But anyone who's watched Spaniards - "Into the Hoods" of Alice Springs and Darwin on You-tube might have a little more understanding. We all saw the problems that confronted Liam Jurrah even when he made it onto our list supported by Jim Stynes.

Meh ... Just looked and he's 27yrs old. When I think of Port it's Wines, Butters, Rozee and Horn-Francis who come to mind. Not Houston. Must be an accumulator, someone who gets the ball a shedload but does nothing with it. And if he was any good, I'd know who he was and Port would be better than they are.

Is Houston actually any good or overhyped cause of the draft? He's never caught my attention.

Don't wanna burst any-ones bubble but we've never been a destination club. Maybe in the 50's when they all wanted to play on the MCG. The club and media made rumblings about being a destination club after the flag but who did we land? Name me a big name recruit since .... Peter Moore and Templeton. If we have their name escapes me.

I was more excited about Brayshaw than Hogan when they come to the club. Kid was a fearless beast from the get go.
