I remember seeing him sitting at the draft next to his bikie old man. There was no way in the world we would have picked him up. And if we did the media would've given us the WTF cause they had already decided Scully and Trengrove we're going 1 and 2. And .... Even if we did pick him up we wouldn't have been able to control him and lost him anyway. When Martin tried to shop himself around and got no takers was the best thig that happened to him IMO. Decided he was gonna show 'em all. And did.

I'd honestly hate to play for Goodwin. These kids that make it to the bigtime do it because they played with some flair. Then they get here and it's coached out've them. Our KPI is to keep the opposition under 60pts and somehow hope we manage to rugby scrum 61pts. Inspiring stuff .... Not.
