  1. Matthew Jefferson’s positioning was exemplary for a forward. In front for the ball drop chest mark.
  2. Typical bleak Melbourne winter’s afternoon. Not missing it sitting here in shorts.
  3. Toby Greene’s fan boy. If it had been Daicos, Dangerfield or Cripps absolute give me.
  4. FTB in your dreams mate :)
  5. Bears have already had a brain fade, Shadeau omitted.
  6. Giving it a Nudge! Leo just another 1,224 pages to go... Love the passion and call to arms. Perhaps all the doubting Thomas's et al when taking aim at the Club President, CEO, Coach, Captain, Players, Club Doctor, Physiotherapists, Masseurs, Property Steward, Bootstudder, Water girls&boys, Runner, etc. Would do well to heed one of your pearls of wisdom. "Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself."
  7. 3-Zurhaar (2-1) Didn’t know the umpires could influence a vote? Perhaps the AEC needs to investigate. More than an oft whiff of pork barreling with some soft as butter won’t melt in their mouths adjudications.
  8. I’m positive family and friends up here in Darwin will be ecstatic. As will his former junior coach at Nightcliff. (Scotty will be chuffed). Long time coming but deservedly so. Did it the hard way kicking the dew off the grass. Long may you run Andy. ❤️💙
  9. Agree with most of that, although he did have a young local, Valentine as a companion tall defender. In the corresponding game last year (wildcard final). His North opponent did get hold of him and observed his frustration/dejection. This season he appears to be progressing in an understated way. He hasn’t to my re-collection been beaten too often, importantly keeps his feet and stays in the play. North have a a number of tall forwards, their influence in the second half of yesterday’s match was lessened. As Casey’s overall team performance improved. Young Adams was a contributor too, noticeably intercepting or standing tall with a couple of big pack marks.
  10. Had him penciled in as NQR earlier in the game.
  11. Should cheer the tea-leaf readers. An alternate career beckons... As a jumps jockey.
  12. Casey showed some resolve in the second half to make a contest of it. North the perennial cellar dwellers will rise. After all the AFL largesse, they can afford to play two highly touted recruits in the seconds?
  13. Verrall showing a bit more presence that quarter.
  14. Verrall showing a bit more presence this half.
  15. Must be the shortest honeymoon on record.
  16. JEFFO! Straight as an arrow for #3.
  17. JEFFO threads the eye of the needle! Drop punt the choice of true professionals.
