  1. This is fun...
  2. What, you're editing people's posts when you quote them now? That's a whole new level. Ah well, two can play at that I guess...
  3. But you can have an opinion of someone elses informed opinion?
  4. Fair enough then. It's funny, this year has been the first in ages here I haven't followed potential draftees and mock drafts etc really closely due to my renewed faith in the recruiting staff. Who would your top 10 be PD?
  5. As I said, just comes across like you rate your opinion far higher than people who you've admitted know more than you. Take it on board, don't take it on board... Up to you.
  6. Fair enough. Just comes across like you're putting down all these people's opinions, people who know far more than us, without providing any reasoning for it.
  7. And nor should you, but she knows far more about the potential draftees than you and I.
  8. We haven't drafted him yet...
  9. Please, someone else explain to this guy what the point is. I'm done trying.
  10. That was my whole point WYL. Now, do you think those priests would be considered good true Catholics? I'm going to leave it at that mate. Have a good day.
  11. You are this time my friend. For a while I actually thought you wouldn't have an antiquated view, that's the only thing I was wrong about.
  12. I'm not saying spend years doing it, and there is no religion I believe in, all I'm saying is it's always better to have some understanding of what you're demeaning, as opposed to saying "I already know it's a story of cloud dairies"... Maybe you already have done that, and that's your final outcome, and that's totally fine. I respect whatever you choose to believe or not believe, but don't think that aggressive Atheism isn't as much of a set of beliefs and mind control as any religion is.
  13. Pointing the finger at a few of the posters whinging about us picking up Milkshake after this today... http://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-premiership/jake-melkshams-new-melbourne-gear-stolen/story-e6frf3e3-1227601309940
  14. I am, but to be honest I haven't paid anywhere near as much attention to potential draftees this year as I have in the last 5-6 years. I guess that's a good sign.
  15. Sensational write up about the soon-to-be Demon WJ. Appreciate your work.
  16. Barber seems a bit hipster to me... I vote Todd and Jack give him the military buzz cut as an initiation.
  17. Which is exactly what I was saying. Roos wouldn't be picking certain players, but he would definitely have a checklist of traits he requires which the recruiting team then base their recommendations on.
  18. Oh well it must be true then... Because everyone knows every completely different situation is exactly the same...
  19. And I find it fascinating how vulture like the trolls are on Demonland. Latching onto anyone who is actually willing to say something. Weak as pi55.
  20. Geez. You acted like a smart Alec, you were wrong. Maybe try a bit of humble pie instead of making it worse?
  21. A link's been posted "ProDee", might be time to concede this one.
  22. Well I would expect you are quite well versed in recognizing people who are heads given there's hopefully still a mirror at your residence you haven't smashed in disgust. Now move along child, the grown ups are talking about football. Off to your bananas and sexism thread made especially for you and the other special ones.
  23. I'm not saying the head coach would say "I want this bloke, full stop", but clearly they would all work together in identifying the best player that fits what we are looking for in terms of attitude. To think the recruiter just goes out and picks whoever he wants without the coach knowing about it is just plain silly. Let's not forget the original comment I was responding to: "Coach that is being phased out shouldnt be involved at all." The example I used wasn't to show the merits or otherwise of how it could happen, but merely to show it's an accepted fact that the head coach gets the final say.
  24. Of course the coach is involved. The coach is the head of responsibility for the way the footy team performs on field, including managing the players. He would have a big say, most likely the final say in who we pick after being given the recommendations of the recruiting and list managing team. Remember Neeld overruling Viney in taking Toumpas? But sure, if you don't want our premiership winning coach, who has a reputation of having an eye for picking players, involved in the process of deciding who will be in his team next year maybe you should write to PJ and see what response you get...
