  1. I couldnt stand DB being interviewed during the game... surely a win is better than promoting the 'melbourne brand'...
  2. well he has played about 3 VFL reserves games in his time at the club, so I'm not sure how you could be convinced!!!
  3. No drama's Demon Jack, if you look in the Casey Forums, on this site, every thursday night the teams for casey are also put up Enjoy your extra hours sleep!!

  10. Good info DeeStarr...thanks for that update Spoke to one of the players today after the trip and they thought it was an awesome few days. It seems like a great initiative that Beamer has started, definately something you would expect from a potential future captain! Also wanted to comment on Watts' taping on the groin area...I know that players with Osteitis Pubis have very very similar taping to this area. Definatley not saying JW has osteitis, but possibly he has just been sore in that area and this is a precautionary taping... Just a long shot though...
  11. Not much has been said about it yet....only that it is confirmed that another tumor has been found...
  12. I saw that interview also and became very excited about the way he spoke about Fitzpatrick!! Good signs IMO Go dees!
  13. Thanks for all the updates KC!! keep up the good stuff!!

  15. I'd be very happy with Beamer as our next captain... And I know for a fact that many of our new draftees from 2008 onwards have all said that Beamer has been the best mentor around the club. An interesting statement made by one of our draftees that Mclean was arrogant around the club and no-where near as welcoming as beamer.... Go Dees!
  16. Big call with not much proof to back it....
  17. Scully, Blease and Watts all played Vic Metro together are a quite a close bunch.... Add Gyzza to this who played U/14 - Present with Blease and who went to school together.... I do like all these combinations, I think it will definately be benefical down the track
  18. Hasn't played the last 3 weeks due to soreness in the area of his broken leg....fluid is still in and around the area causing some discomfort for Sam, however this fluid and assosciated soreness should and will reduce with time. he missed previous games for casey earlier in the season where he unluckily picked up a liver infection and subsequently lost 5 kilos. This year is far from a wash out....I'm sure the trainers and Sam particularly would feel disapointed, if not insulted at that comment. He is giving 110% to currently get himself right again, and especially after seeing his mate and junior football partner, Jordan Gysberts do so well over the last 2 weeks, Sam is commited and still has the fire in his belly for the MFC. At this stage it is looking like he might play this weekend for casey 2's however if not this week, then hopefully very shortly. With the broken leg he missed almost 18 months of footy and every game he can get under his belt between now and the rest of the season is crucial for his development. Go Dees!
  19. yeah i'd tend to agree with you... I'm not sure where carlton sit overall though....I mean they have had great wins against geelong and st.kilda but that seems about it.... cant wait to see one of our young blokes run with and possible outdo judd! maybe wishful thinking though anyway GO DEES!
  20. Good thread...thanks for the update how was kyle cheney looking? I still have a suspicion he might get named on saturday...
  21. yeah thats correct...we initially traded him in 1999 for pick 35 as a straight swop...and actually traded him to st.kilda in 2002 pre-season draft cheers!
