Ah...such a happy place for someone prone to depression to want to move to.
  2. It was surely, in effect, Salam plus Tyson over Kelly, just to put it into true perspective. Do you honestly think that Kelly, in our side, would be burning them up this year?
  3. Q: What colour will the sky be on Sunday afternoon? A: Who cares, we won't see it playing at Doglands.
  4. How come we are stuck with this underscheiving blue sky that will never get us anywhere, when we should obviously have taken that fantastic teal sky that is exciting all those lucky Port Adelaide fans. What a shocking choice.
  5. IIRC we lost one last September - final game of the season.
  6. Fabulous post But Mr Roos, aided by Mr Jackson, and maybe a few players, will inevitably bring us all unprecedented joy and success within twelve months. Without a shadow of doubt.

Hopefully Jimmy T could develop to fill this rôle in time. Some have had Blease here, though he lacks something, probably related to intensity and / or concentration.

IF not fully fit then rest him. Have another look at Georgiou, who was going pretty well until "friendly fire" from JV KOd him. I am more concerned by some of his decision making. He has a huge tank and puts in every time....hope it can improve. I am worried about him, though not like you, over him.
  9. Are you implying that you wouldn't take Dawes, Salem....or Judd, Ball, Goddard, Richards, Rioli (though not the stereotype), the Scotts, Hawkins etc ???
  10. "A solid source inside the recruiting office?"
  11. provided his name doesn't start with $. :-)
  12. Certainly looks as if we have snagged a couple of absolute rippers this time. Congrats to the recruiting team.
  13. What a great article. I haven't read many or maybe any of Murphy's articles before but I will now. Well written. Does anyone know if it is all his own work or is it ghosted.

and only one season since our last flag....how many would have dreamed in their worst nightmares that we would be still waiting? Hard to believe that our last winning GF tickets cost probably about 8 shillings and sixpence !!
  15. Yeah. I look forward to either one striving to be better than the other, not in a one upmanship sense but I think they will push each other to greater and greater heights. . I couldn't help noticing JKH and to a slightly lesser extent Salem doing this too, especially early in the Crows game. Very poised. Both look to have what Alan Jeans once (was reputed to have) said when asked what attribute he looks for most in a young player - balance !!

There were certainly a lot more Amps today, which, multiplied by the Volts (= well known potential), meant a lot more output of energy = Watts. Now he needs to back it up again and again.

Do you mean banished from the game in disgrace??
  18. ^^ Jack & Chelly All too true - an abysmal lack of forward planning. The old adage - "Fail to plan: plan to fail" has never been truer.
  19. Thanks again wyl - I can't seem to find such an App in the app store. Can you recommend a particular one?
  20. Thanks wyl - will give it a go later
  21. Does anyone here with superior technical knowledge and an ability to explain these things in simple terms know if I am able to save this clip to a USB stick, via an MacBook Air, for later viewing? If so, how?
  22. Do you seriously think that a proven coach and developer of player like Mr Roos would re engage Neville if he felt he was a lost cause? Roos obviously sees something that Neville hasn't produced, and that his previous coaches have been unable to get out. It will be an interesting excercise but I look forward to seeing how the season develops for Nev.

and Ollie is playing in a top 8 side: Dimirti is playing in the very worst midfield in memory.

I guess that explains why he had such a good game vs Geelong ! NOT !
