At the risk of bring the thread to a new low, a funny mate of mine once referred to the frontal 2/3 part of a peckerino as a 'blue vein custard chucker'. Cacked myself.

OD, don't want to give you more reason to dread 2015, but yesterday our VFL team had 15 AFL players in it, and they have had similar numbers for most of the year. They played Coburg, a non-aligned VFL club, and lost. They slipped to wooden spooners in the last match of the VFL season. So our VFL team, stacked with AFL players, is not even up to VFL standard. Hang in there OD, our time will come. But we all may need a few more of modern medicine's miracles to keep us aroud long enough to see the day it happens.

Have hardly ever visited this thread, and the last couple of pages give me no idea where it has come from, where it's going, and it's prime purpose in life. But I like the absence of angst and all the other stuff on the other threads. It's not a troll question, but can anyone give me a thumbnail sketch of the story up to now for this thread? At nearly 500 pages I have no hope of catching up by myself.
