  1. Or the cellar (Crint).
  2. Well I might be bro, but I think all the old folks have gone to bed by now. Or someone else's bed (DC) Or the stable (BBO) Or the dairy (Jazza).
  3. Holy Barassi! It's true! You are the Optimus Primes!
  4. Geez. You guys sound like you're from the Brut 33 era. Or - Norm Smith forbid - Hai Jakarta! I'll give you some credit and assume you don't go back as far as Old Spice (1st time around).
  5. Happy Friday to all. Crint only drinks one colour. Let me guess - a Heathcote varietal again Crinty? I'm starting on the beers and working my way up. Surely one of them will go well with tonights home made pizza.
  6. Apparently they're all looking forward to getting legless.
  7. I'm still not clear on this. A hermaphrodite frog? A genderless frog? A super frogman frog? A Mattel Ken frog (with suitably located bump) How on earth did you pick up that hot country chic?
  8. A couple of Japanese tourists in one of the Crocodile Dundee movies when they thought Dundee was 'Crint Eastwood'.
  9. Good question Crint. Guess it's up to BBO to provide proof of his report of a father's physical assault of his daughter who is in BBO's class, but I'll take his word for it.
  10. Yeah but unless there is some very convincing role playing going on, it looks like it's got pretty vitriolic. What was attractive about this thread (to me) was that it was some relief from the angst of the real world on other threads. That, and the characters in this stage play had developed some common ground, familiarity with each other and dare I say it, respect. The latter looks to have been dropped in recent days. But until then it was a haven, a parallel universe where only the good parts of humanity existed. Well, maybe with a bit of licence taken around various subjects such as alpacas, Burwood and bananas. I hope, BBO, it is all argy bargy as you say. Otherwise we may have torn a hole in the space-time continuum and rent the universe asunder.
  11. Wow. First look on here in a coupla days and can't believe how feral it has become. Fan vs Fan. Brother vs Brother. Teacher vs Farmer. Snipers sniping from the sidelines and mud being thrown back. Mediators trying to calm things. What have we become?? And then in the middle of it all, some heart rending and apparently real stories of hardship, rebellion, charity, and family violence. Very sobering. I'm reminded of that great speech by an American President: I think it was President Jack Nicholson in Mars Attacks: "Why can't we all just get along?"
  12. And perhaps some duty free cheese on the way back? Have a good trip OD. And don't take up the offers to upsize your meals unless you're wearing elastic waisted pants.
  13. Cool. Thought you might have been but wasn't sure. Thanks for clarifying.
  14. My fault for being too obtuse. I was referring to the first six letters of the WORD peckerino.
  15. Sorry if any offence was caused.
  16. At the risk of bring the thread to a new low, a funny mate of mine once referred to the frontal 2/3 part of a peckerino as a 'blue vein custard chucker'. Cacked myself.
  17. Or in honour of the news on the other thread, 2 = The Great Robbie Flower. R.I.P. champ.
  18. Making somebody an offer they can't refuse? Oh well, it's Wed night now. Keep that thought for Tues next week.
  19. Who let Geelong into the room?
  20. Not forgetting Bonanza with the Ponderosa, Hoss, Little Joe etc.
  21. What Tiger? And I hope noone asks me to describe her face....I don't think i've seen it.
  22. OD, don't want to give you more reason to dread 2015, but yesterday our VFL team had 15 AFL players in it, and they have had similar numbers for most of the year. They played Coburg, a non-aligned VFL club, and lost. They slipped to wooden spooners in the last match of the VFL season. So our VFL team, stacked with AFL players, is not even up to VFL standard. Hang in there OD, our time will come. But we all may need a few more of modern medicine's miracles to keep us aroud long enough to see the day it happens.
  23. 24km east of the G puts me a few suburbs away from B'wood. And a generation of difference that is.
  24. Hesitate to answer. Saw some posts about blue rinse set and george pell. In that case I live a million miles away. Though I have passed through there on my way to the G.
  25. Thanks. That challenges some of my previous perceptions of the many wonderful characters on DL, but I'll take your word for it. Imagine that - a talking cow!
