I hope that I'll live to see us attack the man with the ball like that. Swannies missed out on a chance to take Cyril out in a one on one making contest. The Hawks would have straight through Hannebery or Parker in the same situation. So I think they're more ruthless and will get up. I tell you, watching good footy live is good for the soul. Pity my team can't deliver...

If you haven't seen TMac's interview after the game http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2015-05-16/rd-7-tom-mcdonald-postmatch Here's a bloke hurting who gets it. No platitudes, no bull$hit A leader -

Really feel for garland. Had a dip all day.

I can understand the backs chipping it around. They completely over chasing leather and the don't trust the mid field not to turn it over
-
PJ gets it.. This is how you lose the trust of the members
-
And this is Neeld-esque.

I get it that going the knuckle is not helpful. But it would be really nice to see some serious agro.

Not they're just taking the pi$$. Langford goals from a stoppage. We have no one goal side... And then howe GIVES UP on a chase
-
And pedo stays in...2 goals, runs all day and tries his heart out

Have The Hawks become flat track bullies that wilt under pressure?
frankie_d replied to PaulRB's topic in Melbourne Demons
Without Hodge and Lewis, they might lose some sting. Those two are natural bullies. I will be looking for an immediate physical reaction if they try to push us around, and for a sustained "we'll keep putting our head over the ball". I don't think they'll need to, though. In defense, we often set up a few meters behind the opposing player - and their footskills will kill us in that situation.- 122 replies

All our goals for the last two weeks have been kicked by players who didn't play last year!
