Am not impressed with effort, skill level or anything about our performance to be honest, but at the same time, I think some of you are getting a little carried away. Just last game you would have been singing our praises, a little perspective required.

Their poor kicking has kept us in it, still some chance, we are notorious slow starts, surely we can improve!

I like the idea of dragging an non Melbourne supporter/member along to the game today. We really have to increase our supporter base and with an exciting developing team this could just be the case to get some more fans to help us on this long journey up towards both on field success and off field stability. I have a reserved seat in the Melb Members but only sat there in Round 1 as every game since I've been able to get someone to tag along with me, so come on, search through your phone and gets some newbies on board to see the Dee's on a fine Saturday afternoon at the 'G.

Who gives a jack! Just stirring... sure is quite an abundance of Jack's in our team, and hopefully they can all go on to be good long term players for our club, maybe even a potential Captain Jack one day.

The topic thread here my sound a little ridiculous but isn't it great to really be feeling the loses (and of course the wins). I walked out of the 'G tonight absolutely ropeable and whilst I nearly would have kicked the cat (not literally) after a few k'm of walking and seeing the disgruntled Melbourne fans I decided that this anger/disappointment is actually a great thing. It shows we are back in the game, and we are no longer just content with an honourable loss, you could see it in the players and you could see it with the supporters. Its great to see the real passion returning! Just some thoughts... Feel free to add your own!

Agreed, no ironing, unless its work or wedding/special function related. Next we will be complaining how our newly ironed underpants have shrunk. On a more serious note, thats crap if they have been made from poor quality. I was keen to get the Melb FC Tank top, it looked like really good gym wear but they were sold out before the season started and they gave no indication they were getting any more in, which was a pity.

I agree with some of the comments about it being a pity to not see the big fella JB running around the 'G but what an opportunity this present. I do wonder what the odds will be reset at if this news is confirmed, we would obviously come in, but I wonder to what, maybe $3.00? Thoughts?
