If he cannot get in when we are crying out for mid fielders and two of our midfileders are out injured and one for a lengthy period then when will he? Why is he on the list? I would have thought to cover this exact situation but obviously not so.

You can put your conspiracy theories away Demonfan. There will be no Third sydney team this decade or probably the next. Paul Roos will have no interest in coaching in the next couple of years let alone with the Dees. The only danager to the MFc is if we continue to be irrelevant to the competition we may get amalgamated with GWS around the end of the decade.

IMO they are worried about Trengove having to do the job on his own when he is struggling to justify his spot in the team. You cannot take the job away from him now without it looking like a loss of faith in him. So give the vacant spots to Jones and Garland and they become in effect the Captain and Vice. The right guys do the job and Trengove's ego etc is in tact. Seems quite a smart move to me. Trengrove might be the MI this week!

That applies to ever team we play. IMO it is the root of 90% of our problems Easy to see but a lot harder to fix.

You have my vote. IMO there will be little interest from any other club for his services. He will stay at the Dogs on a much lower salary.

That may well be true. He would not have to win every game off his own boot and could probably spend more time in the forward line where IMO he is more suited.

for the last two seasons I have been of the opinion that Trengove is a half forward. IMO the majority of his good games were when he played in that position. He is not a mid field player. As for the captaincy he should not have been given the job, too much for a guy trying to progress his career in a crap team where too much is expected of him. I did not see his game yesterday but in previous weeks he has IMO not justified his placed in the side. If he was a rookie he would have been dropped before yesterday. He should be rested at Casey for a week or two.

Amazing how we as supporters see our team in 2013.I did not go yesterday but heard the scores a couple of times, at half time I thought only 5 goals behind. Then the final score and thought wow only 10 goals! I never thought I would see the day when I was happy with a ten goal loss. Says lots about my expectation for the team at present. Things are truely bad when you have no expectation of a win in 95% of games and see a ten goal loss as a good result.
