    Not sure I agree with that Satyr I think the majority put their faith in people and that faith was not rewarded. e.g the board, at no stage over the last 7 - 8 years was there ever the opportunity to vote for board members. Now did I stand for the board? No because I had neither the money or the required skill. But I don't believe the average member got what they deserved.

    I agree with your basic premise rpfc However will those three ever be on the ground together? Two of the three are injury prone I reckon that combination might happen 20% of the time max.

    The result I draw from that Redleg is I should buy a Blues membership in 2014 not a dees one! We have no hope. I better get with the strength.

    Joeboy you can comfortably do it from Bali.Do it now you will only get a couple wrong at worst. A belting is a certainty the usual players will play to their usual level. Easy mate. Enjoy Bali wish I was there.

    AA is now gone. Everyone at the AFL now realises where trail blazing leaves you.

    Says lots about our team Monoccular that we grade our players in degrees of "Crap" .I find myself doing it constantly. Player X is not as bad as player Y! Amazing the level we have descended into at the end of 2013.

    I have spoken to a number of people who have done the survey and to a person they reflect what you have stated above.I guess it is an annual survey but I think the club would be expecting the obvious result. When you have the horrible year on and off the field that the MFC has had in 2012 and this year any thing less than a lot of criticism would be a surprise. The only thing that will improve the situation in 2014 is getting people on the board who are competent, a good management team and then winning a few games. Seems simple but by our efforts over the last decade show it is difficult for the MFC to achieve. I am not holding my breath.

    I have been confused by the MFC for seven years TBF.Don't worry you are amongst friends there a very large amount of the 31k sorry 33k!! Um there are a lot of us

    Yep Why is it that we cannot except when our players are playing poorly? We have been beaten badly in most games this year That screams we have had a lot of players who have played poorly. IMO Howe has had a poor year. As you say just facts

    Yes Very Lorne ish now. In ealry eighties is was still not much more than a fishing village with holiday makers over Christmas / Jan period. We loved it, with the exception of the two pubs and a couple of food places everything shut at 12.00 noon Saturday. The first time we saw you could buy a cappuccino my wife said Apollo Bay is stuffed, just another Lorne now. We have some friends with a house at Skenes Creek we still go down one weekend a year. Nothing stays the same, my wife says just remember it the way it was.

    Got an email from the club about "Member Appreciation Week' Seems like a reasonable idea to try and keep members involved in a totally crap year. I know it is the last home game but it could be a dismal game on Sunday as the culmination of the week of prizes etc.
