If my memory is correct he came to us via the rookie draft so on that basis we have done well. But don't expect him to be more than a tagger. In that role he is quite useful. IMO he does not have the skill set to be any more than that.

I think that Grimes like Trengove should be allowed to develop their game ability without the added problem of being Captain. IMO Grimes is a half back and Trengove a half forward. Now that we have a number of new Mid field players I would prefer them as half backs and forwards respectively. The last two years we have robbed Peter to pay Paul with these two. I think they can be very good players if we stop trying to make them Mid fielders.
