  1. I will be surprised if much happens in that space. The largest number of club supporters probably don’t care. It might alter a little from one club to another but not a lot in my view. Did the pies numbers drop? Not from my memory.
  2. I stand correct WJ.
  3. I though he played for Fitzroy WJ?

Hawthorn has successfully pushed the GF off the media for at least the next 24 hours
  5. Essendrug might have lucked in with this one. Poor North if it was raining soup they would be standing there with a fork!
  6. I would stay longer!
  7. I almost agree with you. We need both IMO of course that assumes the Weid wants to stay.
  8. Nope, more the Aussie type.

If they cannot get a kick at essendrug what makes you think they are more than Casey talents? Rather keep Bedford.

I would say it is certain LH.
  11. Just another bloody night game.
  12. Good news and we will see jnr.

He maybe the switch clubs player we need to get a high pick in the draft. That could be used to along with compo we get from WA to get a KPF from somewhere. Sometimes you have to give up someone good to get a needed position player. Like a lot of MFC deals this trade period I think a lot will happen late in the trade period.
  14. Sorry to disappoint you but I am a republican! Only a mild one, it will happen one day. Watched a bit last night the poms can put on a good show. Go Dees.

Howe went to pies to play forward. How did that work out.

For better or worse I think we are committed to Grundy. We will probably end up paying him as much as we offered Jackson. IMO Jackson will never be as good as Grundy so we have improved. How or who we get as a key forward is a more perplexing question. Hopefully Tmac can get back early next season In good nick and JVR plays some good games in the seniors. The FD may also gets its head around using Petty in the forward line. That would enable us to move the search into 2024. Overall I think we still have a very good line up available for 2023.
  17. The sun will come up. Gil will be gone from the AFL. There will be no announcement on our home.
  18. 107 dream team points. That is a very good score.

More commentator speculation. Most have no more idea than you and I. In fact most probably get their melb. News from here.

These is one simple fact at play here the Dees polled the most votes of any club. Players took votes away from each other. Often happens.

    Yes I would.
  22. It seems the girls loosing to the Lions is way bigger news that the club winning a flag. Obviously different priorities than mine.
  23. The ways of the media never cease to amaze me. Today there is nothing in the HUN about the VFL GF. Now this is supposed to be the second best competition of Aussie rules. However the girls game has pages devoted to it.
  24. Not sure why people want to write Tom off. A lot only appreciate him when he isn’t there. He has had his issues but always looks after himself and I am confident he will come up after this set back.
