  1. I am going but you will have to wait for modest report later today after the game.Anyone know how to find the player numbers for today
  2. What you say is true Redleg but a large number are of our own making
  3. Off to the Casey game today anyone have any idea where I might find a list of numbers for todys game?
  4. Reads like me at the Amos Maldonboy Until a few years ago I had forgotten what being close to everything was like. It is a different experience to going to the "G" As I said earlier returns me to the game of my youth.
  5. I agree with most of what has been said here and I think this line above expresses it it best for me. Unlike a lot of you I still have interest for the game below AFL level. I have an interest in two Amos teams that I have friends involved in. They remind me of the game I grew up with as a child. You watch the game at close quarters, the Players are there because they love playing the game. I always feel my team has a chance of winning and I have not left a game in the last 5 years thinking we tossed it in. I pay my membership to the MFC out of duty and I could not bear to think the lack of my small contribution was the reason they folded. Passed that my enthusiasm is approaching the end. I have mentally committed till the end of 2015. If we are not competitive by then I think the MFC will have left me not the other way round.
  6. I don't believe in luck however we have sure had more than our fair share of poor results with injury and selection etc.If I did believe in good luck I would say we have not had any for a decade.
  7. Willie by four pointsShould have gone! They are probably singing the GOF right now.
  8. I am lost!Sorry no understand
  9. I actually think the MFC spoils a good wine after a match JVF.
  10. I am more inclined to think it will be when we have turned over another ten players GiG
  11. I might change to the dogs our clash jumper is already red, white and blue. So not a big shift Seem like a side improving. Could get on the wagon at the right time. Perhaps we should amalgamate?
  12. Was going to the Amos today and then suggested I might go to Essendon tomorrow. No.1 wife gave me a rather angry look so punted for tomorrow. With my luck that will mean Willie win today and Casey get a bath tomorrow.
  13. Way more dc the other two have been consigned to the "red and blue print " disaster bin.
  14. I agree Redleg.I just get annoyed that many think all we need is a priority pick and all will be well in the world. In case you have not noticed in drives me crazy.
  15. At the risk of insulting you Neither is Mitch. It is over The AFL is a cut throat business not a benevolent society. We are struggling to survive. We have to move on to other players, we don't have another 18 months of finances and resources to use on Mitch Clark.
  16. WJ I am one that believes we should get over this " a priority draft pick will fix everything" attitude and I still believe it. Now that does not mean I don't think we deserve one or need the help provided. It is the attitude that annoys me. The MFC has bought us to this point the point. The MFC chose the last two coaches and FD"s, we chose poorly at the draft table, we chose poor management. It has taken us a decade to grind down to the worst list in the competition. The competition owes us bugger all we have bought 95% of this on ourselves. IMO it is going to take us at least another three years ( including 2014 ) to become even competitive with the top six sides. The AFL will only put up with us until the end of the this TV contract as they need the games we provide. If we have not dragged ourselves up by then we are in serious trouble for our very existence. How many people will watch the Game tomorrow on Foxtel? I suggest a few thousand. The broadcasters probably already see us as expendable. The future does not look good to me. Now you can say I am negative but in my opinion we are at deaths door
  17. I have severe doubts his legs are now up to the grind that is AFL at the top level. He has continual soft tissue injuries. It will probably go on for the length of his contract as there is nothing wrong with his mental situation But I don't expect much from him over the next 18 months.
  18. I have been saying that for four decades WJ They are the team we should aspire to be. Not far to go just about 20 players short.
  19. Re the last seven words ( I can never work out how to highlight on this bloody iPad )Every time I say we could hardly get worse we do . Yes I do DeeZee
  20. The last two weeks say everything about him in my opinion nutbean This is his sixth year on the list would want to put in some very good games over the next twenty weeks for him to be off my trade list.
