In all honesty is there anyone who cares. There is no one in the reserves who we can even play to see if they have anything to offer. Cannot get the season over soon enough for me and get to the list changes. That is what is going to improve 2015 nothing that happens this weekend will make any difference.

Take a dose of reality AzzKikAWe have the worst list by a fair margin it will be improved this trading period and will be better than this year. However keep in mind we are coming from a VFL list in 2013. IMO we will be a couple of spots on the ladder better than this year but we have a long way to go. You cannot replace 20 NGE players in 10 minutes with better players. 2015 is going to be another tough year. IMO 6 wins and only a couple of 10+ goals losses will be our lot.

What's the alternative sue hand back the licence? Seriously I was reflecting with a mate yesterday about what we expected at the start of the season. When we cast our minds back our expectations were fairly low. We thought five wins would be the maximium ( I could not see past four ) we actually had different games marked as winners. We hope for a reduction in thrashings and that was about it. We both said our list was in a sad state and a large number would need to be replaced over 2014- 16. We both had a list of VFL players listed but they varied a bit but there were really no surprises the crap always sinks to the bottom. So we got pretty much what we expected with four wins a few close ones and not to many thrashings, also along the way we had the NGE's confirmed. My view on why we fell away in the second half of the season is simply lack of numbers. Once we started to lose players from our best 22 from injuries or loss of form there was no one to replace them. AS has been stated by many the list is poor and as a result our complete lack of any depth shone through in the second half with form dropping and confidence went out the window. I have said many times that the hole we found ourselves in at the end of 2013 was going to take years to get out of, now some see that as negative I always thought it was the reality of the situation. Time I think has justified my position. I am depressed like most on here but if we are honest with ourselves did we really think we were going to do a Port?

It is a lock bb Onward and upward for the dees in 2015. Eight new players, six to seven wins and No 10+ goal losses. That will be achieved take my word for it

I have changed my mind we will get a PP The team will lose the last two games by an average of 14 goals and finish last. Frawley will be off and Roos will fail to talk for the month of August. The AFL will be forced to act. Three picks in the top ten is on the way

A small blip in the long haul to respectability DeeZee. A few players played above themselves for six weeks then back to normal. Dawes was an average player in a very good side at the woods he could afford a dozen good games a year. His dozen were used up around mid season. Pedersen was renowned for playing a few good games then a spell of shockers. that theme has continued at the dees. Neither are long term prospects at the MFC IMO. They will be useful over the next couple of years while others are bought in. Don't expect anything more. I hoped for 4 -5 wins this year and a small number of beltings. We have had four wins and a number of close games. The good players are still putting in the others not so. Just shows the ones that will need to be replace over the next two years. Get cheerful guys there is no alternative to 2014 and the next two years of struggle. Just a lot of bloody hard work ahead. The alternative is to hand back the licence is that what you want?

Have not seen the game and I won't PSD but the result was really not a surprise to anyone was it? Not sure why everyone is so down. Last night I was reflecting on my thoughts at the start of the season. I thought we would struggle to win more than four games and I knew and said our list was going to take at least three years to fix. We are seriously short of AFL level players, hard work and a long tough road ahead but since when has it been otherwise for the MFC.

Rose this morning to discover only a ten goal loss so that was a pleasant surprise. Next thought was to hell with the medical world I added half a banana to my muesli. Tasted every bit as good as I remember. Uni black won very easily yesterday even though I could not go. On top of the ladder with finals looming. The MFC ? Who cares just more of the usual. Cruise coming up in October and yesterday booked USA holiday with No.1 GD to Disneyland for May. World is looking good.

My point is Redleg that you can jump up and down till you are blue in the face the AFL will ignore you.they give what suits them and we dont suit them.
