I agree I would much rather be at the game. However there is no chance I would spend all the money required to see the game in Adelaide to then have a restricted view.

How can restricted view be good? Better to sit in the bar of a good hotel and watch on tv. Drinks are probably cheaper as well.

Genuine question. Do you live in Adelaide or are you planning to go there for the game? I am interested in why people would go to the expense of going to a game there against another Vic side.

I didn’t go to the GP ( left it too late to get a ticket ) but spent the afternoon with friends watching it. Yes I am a petrol head from way back. I thought that was a good attendance number. Will be watching a replay today. I think our big mistake is expecting footy commentators to admit their mistakes.

LJ played with a very good team around him in his time at the MFC. That is not the case now, it does make a big difference to young players.

LJ might be finding he is not surrounded by good players like he was at the MFC. He might have to do a lot more himself without the feed he was used to previously.

People have to get used to the fact that we are not Pies or Tigers supporters. Dare I say it but we are more reserved. I was in the southern stand which probably had the bulk of dogs supporters and I thought the response was good. The other element is the GF was a long time ago in a football sense. I suspect had it been the previous weekend the response would have been bigger. While on the subject of response I thought the attendance of Dees supporters was good we were approaching 35k of the 48. Had the dogs supporters got similar numbers it would have been 70k. To the commentators get off our backs it was the dogs who didn’t turn up. My pie friends were telling me after Friday night it is a nightmare getting home I am sure that had an effect as well. If had been May with all the negativity I would have stated home.

Good grief we just beat a potential top 4 side by 8 goals and people want multi changes. Now matter how good a team is there will be members who have average games. The only changes IMO will be Kossie out if suspended and perhaps Viney back in.
