Sparrow, Jordan and Nietschke
Sparrow is better than Jordon IMO. Nietsche was injured all year so who knows with him.

You will probably prove me wrong with an example but I don't remember a Collingwood player who they gave away that was worth much at the new team. Just look at the failures we have picked up from them.

If the Pies don't want him neither do I.

IMo they are welcome to him. Could not get a regular spot at the Lions when they were ordinary and could Not get a regular gig at the pies. Says he is ordinary. We have plenty of ordinary already.

Why are the Saints so attractive?
I did say most years DD. IMO there will be a " home" comment between now and the AGM. I might add that since 1996 they have been mostly tame affairs even when we were 5 minutes from extinction. In my view it is a weakness of the MFC that the members are so compliant.

Why are the Saints so attractive?
I reckon you can put the house on a statement being made just before the AGM DD. It will either way take that subject off the question list. My experience of attending AGM over the last 20 years is the board engineers that there few if any problems to discuss. There have been a couple of exceptions but that is the way it usually rolls. Add that MFC members who attend are an affable lot who tend to swallow the company line.

Super collector. He will be average in 2020.

Gun target - Key Forward recruit?
Unless something happens from left field I believe our KPF's for 2020 will be TMac, the Weid and possibly Petty. IMO that is not a pretty sight however that is the extent of it so we will have to develop a game plan that is built around one KPF. Hopefully the other two can occasional chip in with a good game to keep the oposition defence honest. We are going to need a lot of goals from our half forwards and mids to regularly kick winning score lines.

I have a similar view I wonder if we will be correct?

He was taking the best defenders and still kicking goals. You are kidding yourself if you think he was not a major contributor in 2018. Lots of If's there DS, 22 good games from Weideman will will be a big first for a guy who struggles to put together 5 reasonable games . I know there is no alternative, it is the Weid or bust for a KPF other than TMac but we look thin in the forward department to me.

You have forgotten all the games that he made a major contrabition us wining with multiple goals during the season. Without him in 2018 there would have been no finals appearance. We have not replace the best KPF we had, kicking a winning score was a major problem in 2019 and will again be a problem in 2020.

Spot on rjay and while he did not play finals he was a major factor during the year that got us into a finals position. both grand finalists This year had multiple good KPF's who kicked multiple goals. We have one average KPF.

Farewell Sam Frost
I agree BB we had a terrible year in 2019 for a number of reasons one of which IMO was the FD. now some changes have happened and I hope your optimism is correct. I don't thing 2019 showed our true worth but I think 2018 flattered us and we have nothing to replace the goals that Hogan kicked in that year. I might add that good KPF's don't grow on trees but our KPF's are average and you don't make the top four without good ones let alone win flags. If luck smiles on us we are capable of 7 to 8th.
-
Are we done now?
So am I FTB but don't hold your breath Good KPF's are rare beasts. I think we will have to go into next season with the NQR's that we used in 2019.

Farewell Sam Frost
From the little you can tell from the outer binman there appears little about his on field performance that would generate the lack of love for keeping him. Must be things we don't know and probably never will.
-

Average and They backed up so well in 2019 that half of them got flung. So let's hope the current replacements are doing a little better.

Farewell Sam Frost
Our FD "reasons" have not filled me with confidence in the past yung blood so the jury is well and truely still out for me.
-
Farewell Sam Frost
So we have traded out the best backman of 2019. I still don't understand that we appear to have had no love for him in the FD. But I guess they did such a good job for us this year so why question their ability.

Hammer Comes Down at the Crows After External Review
I have hated them and the AFL with serious intent since DJ. And that does not take into account the worst supporters in the comp.
