Can't believe Spencer got a game.

Good to see Aussie back although i'd have Jetta in ahead of him. Joel Mac and Morton are good inclusion. Bruce is no huge loss.

Hughes i thought was massively stiff. Was our best forward last week and was just finding his feet. Took 7 marks and presented well. Especially considering they are bringing Miller in, i mean talking about having little effect on a contest. Maybe a farewell game? He has shown maybe a good game followed by 3 shockers!

Hi Guys here is a couple of thoughts

(1) Miller has played well at casey since his exclusion and in case anyone missed it we only kicked 6 goals last week. As well i noticed two WCE players giving Watts a hard time physically, Miller is the only person in our side who is tough and likely to even up any rough stuff from Port.

(2) perhaps the replacement might be Spencer for Jamar! perhaps he is carrying an injury. And please to do not tell me Johnson is a better option than almost anyone on our list.

I have defended him for years however after last week I am off the wagon, he was terrible and unfortunately unlikely to improve. We have to give spencer some game time. I fear he is not good enough either but at least he is young and worth some time and effort.

I think the last four will be Jones, Bate, Mckenzie and Newton. Cannot see Garland getting in without a full game at Casey. It is tweleve months since he played. Will we go with one ruckman for the second week in a row? Probaly as I do not think Spencer is up to it!

I saw it live and on Foxtel. You'd have been better claiming he was hit by a seagull. It was a shirk.

He wont get dropped this week for it but he would want to rectify this quick smart. There are 15 clubs that are giong to work him over for it

I agree Rhino it was a shirk plain and simple. I have been watching football for 50 years and played in my earlier days ( unfortunately not enough skill for this level ). I have seen plenty of guys like JB. lots of skill but they are frightened and from my experience it never goes away. I saw JB do it last year, last week and twice yesterday. Unfortunately in spite of his other talents this problem will not go away. Back to Casey for me and I doubt he will be with the Dees a couple of years down the track. Hope I am wrong but my gut tells me otherwise.

Bennell got spooked and it cost the team plenty.

Bruce was poor early, cost us a goal but was steady later. But I am no fan of Bruce's.

The two changes I would make are Bennell and Scully. Why Scully? He is very young and we should not run him into the ground. A week back at Casey will take the pressure off a bit. Cam deserves a little slack!

In Whoever plays well for Casey this week.

Leave him in for the next couple of games because in the end who do we have to replace him with?

We are a good chance against Richmond (Twice), Adelaide (Twice )Nth. Melbourne and Freemantle 50/50 split. Maximum I can see with this very young side is 6 wins however it could easily be only 4.

I will not be happy but we are likely to get 5 wins and hopefully no 15 goal thrashings

Yes everyone it was a hell of an improvement over last week however we will not win a premiership with " a great effort if only he had grabbed it in the last few seconds"

I am tied of respectable losses. We still did not win. Only winning counts. Collingwood are 8 points and we are ZERO!

Schwabbie was also interviewed on the ABC and his comments were similar.

You are right Jack we do have him for the next 1.5 years but in the end what would you expect Cameron to say he has hitched his wagon to Dean Bailey so for some time into the future it is for better or worse. I have got to say he does not inspire me just saw him on Channel 9 does he ever get excited? sounded like he had just had a nice cup of coffee at St kilda.

I agree with Peter James, Bennel was frightened today and saw similar last week,no courage when it realy counted. Back to Casey for mine. May have missed it bit no body has mentioned the great game from Jamar thought the Russian played a lone hand in the ruck and was the best ruckman afield.

I have never seen anyone shirk as many contests as Bennell has. The conest just before 3qtr time was embarrassing and cost us the lead going into the last quarter. HE was played forward because he doesn't man up!

It was impressive how we played as a team and how good Grimes is! Petterd was fantastic and is presenting very well. Trengove and scully are getting good game time. Frawley is sensational as with Warnock and MAcdonald.

Bail was great, ran hard all day and uses it quite well.

Juice wasn't good enough either was Bate who is just a plodder and lucky to be in the side.

Also Batram was very good.

The jury is still out for me. In case you did not notice we still did not win. I think Collingwood got the four points. But what ever we all here on Demonland think. He is the coach for the next 1.5 years.
