Well now the Casey Scorps are broke. 2012 just goes from one disaster to another. I will be really sad when this year ends in a footy sense. 2013 must be better surely!

Sounds like a good idea if the Casey thing amounts to nil. The best idea is probably to take over Casey but would be a good fall back position IMO

I agree wyl it will not happen at the G. The cats have 2 games ( Assuming a reserves game ) every two weeks. The G averages 3 games a weekend. The MFC reserves will not play at the G on a regular basis ever again. What about sharing the Richmond ground with the Tigers? Has anyone been there recently, I was surprised last week when Parked there.

Billy I live in the North and still get to a few Casey games, I try to get to any games at Essendon, Williamstown, Werribee etc. Usually get to a couple at Casey, add in TV games and i see quite a few. In the last 5 years they have been way more enjoyable than watching the Dees. Doubt you will ever see the reserves as a curtain raiser. It is 2012 not 1970 some changes are not for the better but there is no going back.

Correct rpfc, for better or worse we need the Casey area to breed future generations of MFC members. The long term existence of the MFC is tied to the Casey Area. The trick is to achieve a takeover that the MFC can afford. The ability of the board and CS is now on trial. I look forward to seeing how clever they really are!

Guys I had been in QLD till last Sunday and may have missed it. Before I left there were a number of players that had still not been signed up. e.g.. Dunn, Spencer, Bartram and McDonald etc. Has there been any news on these guys?

There are numerous threads on Demonland about this sorry episode Jonesbag. There is no doubt in my mind we tanked, I was at that game against Richmond and was ferious we did not win. The margin should have 5- 6 goals. I am mystified why so many Dees fans think we are being treated so badly by the the Media on this subject. We just did it so poorly Now we are not the first and whether we deserve any more action than others is a separate story. Leaving all that aside I think the joke is funny and we deserve it.
