  1. I recall reading during a previous spate of ACL injuries among the women much was attributed to basic biological differences Apparently the different shape and structure of the female pelvic and hip area can lead to a gait that raises the likelihood of knee injuries Another report also claimed that menstruation can be a significant factor I imagine that there is and will be considerable further research/investigation into this matter.
  2. FMD skinny - I just slurp the stuff during and after a good session in the dungeon. History! Pfaff ! ............................... but go on ........educate me.
  3. Harder to judge her defensive work from the armchair but she has contributed offensively my my viewpoint.
  4. I've quaffed a few on occasion skinny but they're not on my regular slurping list.
  5. Good pick up Fanatique. I am at a loss to explain that gaffe. Perhaps I need a shrink of the Sigmundian school to undertake some delving into that slip.
  6. Red, I am deeply wounded. After all my years of valuable and profound intellectual contributions to this thread you still misrepresent my tastes in vino. I hereby declare and caste aside all doubts, Chateau Cardboard has no place in The Manor's fine collection of plonk. ( excepting of course, those occasions when The Manor's budget is a tad strained)
  7. We Romsey sophisticates do not flaunt our lavish lifestyle dc -it unsettles the peasants.
  8. The monicker "Stiffy" (over) qualifies you to become a contributor.
  9. Of course - I am not an inconsiderate man ! The Manor's carpet layer leaves his used knee pads behind.
  10. Nothing so ostentatious at The Manor John - just a simple $100 or so dollar Riedal glass . Which , naturally, I smash into the fireplace. ( Keeps the maid alert)
  11. I consider my posts to be an educational resource Mazer - towards the improvement of mankind.
  12. All is well here od. The Maid is busy cooling me with a fan crafted from peacock feathers and by providing regular libation. I wish you good fortune and good health for 2022!
  13. Over the years I've both posted in support of Weid and [censored] canned him. He's played some terrific games and others where he's made a witch's hat look like a Brownlow medalist. He's had more ups and downs than a bride's nightie. This contract must surely be his last chance at AFL level and I guess he knows it.
  14. Perhaps so Neil but I can only image that first introductions may have been perilous.
  15. Errr ...... not precisely ...... although your religious reference is apt WCW. Think more along the lines of religious penance in the Middle Ages ( you can exclude burning at the stake).
  16. You do realise WCW that, as you work your way through this momentous tome, there will be regular testing of its philosophical content, moral implications and how it advances one's understanding of life itself. Sub standard performance may require penance at The Manor.
  17. Fair question willmoy! With that monicker, I reckon would have learnt to fight as a schoolboy.
  18. Boland bowled at test standard. Excellent line and a length that enabled him to gain maximum advantage from a pitch that was helpful but not unplayable. The English "batsmen" on the other hand, were simply deplorable. Apart from Root, they would be embarrassed at club level.
  19. I wish a happy and joyful Christmas to the bunch of [censored] on this thread
  20. The 'Demonland Player of the Year ' usually gets it right. The Oliver Petracca quiinella should be a dead set, ring a ding, shoo in!
  21. Yes thank you George all arrangements are (as always) in hand. (Although keeping the grooms away from the maid is always problematic.) However, I must confess, that with this Corolla business, there are major concerns over whether Charles and Camilla will be able to attend the official opening.
  22. Any idea when the polos will be available @Demonland ?
