    Just watching "On the couch" . They asked fake Brownlow Medalist Cripps for his view on the Kozzi ( and another ) hit. A bit like getting the wolf's opinion on what sort a job the fox did in the chook house FM !!!!

    Fair enough Dub but every time players tackle or clash in an aerial contest there is potential for injury. These are big hard bodied athletes moving at high speed. There are numerous opportunities for bad outcomes from innocent acts. What concerns me is that once litigators / lawyers get into the act the game will change fundamentally. I hope this doesn't sound like I'm going down the the reductio ad absurdum track but once some sort of a lawsuit occurs will we get to the point where tackling is litigated out of the game ?

    I really don't get how you can be punished on the basis of what might be. Either the other party was injured/concussed or not. Is intent somehow being read into this?

    I don't see them as "unforced" changes Jaded. They are three of our best and would have played Saturday night if fitness allowed. As I said above though, 100% is the key.

    Good call Ernie - I noticed that. It was near the end of the game and about 1 minute after I commented to a friend that "Petracca looks buggered" !

    If the medical/conditioning/training staff say Viney, Fritsch and May are 100% fit they must be selected. Midfield bull and inspiration, best goal kicker, top defender - how do you not play them? If Kozzie gets a holiday, there are 4 changes to a side that had a big win. It's rather different to the dark old days!

    Overall a terrific team effort. We did not have a poor performance from any player. Max Petracca Lever Kozzie Oliver Chandler A final word on Max. Best ruckman I have seen ....... ever. Can do it all. A great captain. No wonder he is filling a wardrobe with AA jackets.

    Agree 100% . It just looks bloody crude. Kozzie's feet are both off the ground and he's going at Smith like a missile. However, there is no head contact and Smith does not show any distress. On outcomes the worst he should get is a week, or even a fine. However, we all know the fickle ,inconsistent ( and too often ridiculous) nature of decisions given in the past. We need to cross our fingers on this one.
