I (and I guess thousands of others ) received an email from the club this morning, reminding me of my upcoming membership renewal. It certainly adds to the importance of this weeks round of matches as I can't help but speculate as to what effect whether or not we make the finals will have on those renewals.

That sounds horribly spartan !! Would the climate endanger my wine collection? Can those soldier fellows correctly decant a Shiraz? And what about the maid? She’d need to be there to poach my eggs Damn this Corolla virus !!!

The mood/tone of this thread seems more gloomy than usual tonight. However, the optimistic Bitter would like to remind you ,that it is September and we are still in the game! How often has that happened in living memory?

Jones will be rightly recognized as a hero/champ/great of the club. Sadly age, injury, covid and the 15 years or so of body bashing he took on behalf of the club will deny him the 300 game milestone.

They produce some decent [censored] in that area. Some of the froggie's best but .... in reality world .... Aussie [censored] is better than most.

Well I hope we win but I wont be tickling the Sportsbet account or the maid , for that matter. Like probably most on here, I am just so ****ty and [censored] off that we find ourselves in this situation yet again. In the end, winning or losing tonight probably wont make much difference but I'd like to see something that renews hope for supporters and pride within the club.
