Forgot about the rich uncle @Bitter but optimistic
You are correct EL D ! Your good old Uncle Bitter squanders his wealth on ...... shall we say ..... sins of the flesh.

According to theological and folkloric traditions, the Devil is a powerful fallen angel who orchestrates evil, whereas demons are the various fallen beings or corrupted souls that act as their agents to spread corruption, sin, and chaos in the world
The devil is a single, specific being (also known as Satan or Lucifer), the leader of all demons, while demons are many individual, lesser evil spirits that serve the Devil.
And they all hang out in a place called pandemonium. Which word , in modern usage, often aptly describes the state of our club.

Can I humbly suggest you check out his books by Robert G Barrett? His first one " You wouldn't be dead for quids" is a sensational read and would be right up your alley!!
As always picket - your advice is invaluable!

If anyone asks me my name I say Solemnly Picket Fence. Signed quite a few hankies, and left a few heart flutters in my wake. Ah um Mrs.Fence keeping an eagle eye on things so nothing untoward! Next stop Florence, then Rome then... Home, yeah and have to say after 6 weeks happy to be going home. Best to all, And for me its Buckley's or Nunn and or Lade, or Skipworth.
NOW WHATS THIS ABOUT JEFFO???
I am certain you are an outstanding ambassador for our fine country picket.
Sir Les would be proud of you!

It means we want someone who has had a lot of experience and gone thru a cycle of game styles and changes within the AFL environment
It doesnโt mean they need to have been a senior coach or senior assistant for 7-8 years but being involved at AFL club level in some capacity.
I would have thought that to have any credibility as an applicant one would have been in the industry for well beyond that time constraint. Therefore the unnecessary nature of the stipulation.

About 8 - 10 years ago there was a poll/thread speculating on the greatest Demons. ( i searched but couldn't find it )
As I recall , the top three centered around Robbie, Neitz and Barassi.
I reckon now Max Gawn must not only be added to that that notable list but ... arguably ... be placed at the top.
Comments.

I've been a Dees supporter since I can remember. My Trident membership is coming up for its 20th auto renew.
There's been some good [censored] during that time and lots of bad [censored].
But ... when it all comes down to it ... football is an industry built around a game. It's not life !
I'm sure I don't lack emotion but I just don't understand or share the feeling of bereavement that some posters pour out.
