Kozzie is a terrific example of player development and talent recognition.
We drafted him much earlier than his expected position (presumably because we didn't want to miss him).
Then we stuck with him through his first 20 games or so when spent much of the time running around like a headless chook.
Now we have a gun small forward/mid who can perform show stealing miracles and who has another 200 games to go !!!!

Stop it with the harmony and politeness. Have you forgotten where you are Uncle? This is Demonland and respect and manners don't go unpunished.
I can abuse and belittle better than most deever ! ( my time in rehab testifies to that )
I just can't [censored] be bothered anymore.
The amount of [censored] on Demonland nowadays is overwhelming.
PS. This comment does not refer to my civilised discussion with Binman's PA.
PPS. I mean self righteous bull [censored] from both the over sanctimonious Pollyannas and the loony chicken littles.

If the ruck position was so important, we'd be unbeatable. I just disagree.
No worries. We'll agree on disagreeing.

We just need a contest in the ruck, and he's more than proved he's a good contested mark forward and back.
I don't think Petty or Disco has the ruck nous/ability to negate Draper.
The ruck is not "overrated" if Draper is able to feed his mids.

I'd bring Petty in for Max. That'd be it.
Just now, Jaded No More said:Who takes the ruck?
This is the problem
Our best second ruck is JV R but we would be be robbing our goal kicking power by having him rucking for an extended period.
I don't think Disco or Petty would be of much use against Draper.

Essendrug have played some decent footy.
We will need to lift appreciably to match them.

Hardly a heartfelt welcome back Moonie!
Must you continually be such a rude [censored] ?

Well .... I was wrong ( can't remember the last time ) .... didn't think that Milkshake would come straight back after such a break.
Run out the game and kick three Jake !!!!!

At his best, Jake transforms our forward line.
..... But, given his age and his time out of the game .... bringing him straight back to the ones would be setting him up for failure!
Unthinkable surely.

Dropping the kid after a 10 minute cameo does seem quite extraordinary.
I’d love to know the “reasoning “ behind it !

Naming storms and the like after people always seems a little odd to me.
Do we do it for earthquakes or wars?
Even stranger is people who discover diseases and then name it after themselves. What a nice way to be remembered.
I understand Dr. Alzheimer forgot what his award was for.

That's news to me. I recall Flower being moved to half back by Barassi but can't remember him ever playing FB.
Started the game at full back on Malcolm Blight - if my memory can be trusted!

Could somebody please let Picket Fence know that they’re training at Casey tomorrow morning at 9:30am. I’d tell him myself except he’s now got me on ignore. 😁
A full mailbox is a more likely explanation.

Not sure entirely it was desperate times.
You're never going to get a like for like for Jackson.
Literally just needed a back up ruck that can be physically competitive when needed. Fullarton is more a 200cm forward flanker.
Excellent description dazzle. JVR is now doing just this and is improving every week. You don't have to win the tap out but apply physical pressure so that the oppo ruck can't give his mids an armchair ride.
(JVR will be sorely missed today)

I took a leisurely drive to the game in Alice last year. What a shock and [censored] show that turned out to be!
This year, I am firmly ensconced at The Manor for what I expect to be a tough and close struggle.
Max will simply have to be more superhuman than ever as he is facing a two on one against a couple of serious players. As a team, a slow start must be avoided and we will need to take all our chances inside 50. Fritta is always reliable but we will need contributions from McAdam and Petty.
Our defence will be the difference.
Dees by 13 points.
