I reckon it'll be viewed as being high contact (two points), low impact (one point), reckless (two points) and on Clinton Jones (minus 5 points).
Disagree with last one, change that to 'by Collingwood player' (negates all previous points).
Anyway, for those who haven't seen it:
-
Well done RR. A well deserved top spot all yours.
No Sandi, no Dan.
You have McEvoy...where as I have Derickx
Anyway, good match. Having McKenzie back is huuuuuuuuge for me, should start winning tackles and free kicks for just about every game from now on.
Edit: Just checked the player rankings for my team, and I like it:
McKenzie 19
Bartel 24
Boak 46
McGlynn 58
Mumford 60
Garlett 67
Chaplin 80
Hodge 86
Byrnes (predicted 105, fit to play this week)
Savage 117

Man, Gysberts was amazing. For some reason, it's easy to forget that he's barely played a dozen games. To be averaging something like 20 possessions at this stage in your career is outstanding. Surely he'll get his second nod this week. And probably be in the top few contenders for the grand prize as well...
<shameless plug> And on the topic of Rising Star, it's good to see the award debated in the news week. Based on what I've been reading at Demonland and Demonology after all these years, I think I have a solution
here. </shameless plug>
Read your article mate, nice work. Should definitely be limited to players under 21 in their first or second season. Jack Steven's no star but he was going to get one eventually because he's got three years on most of the candidates.
Off-topic: Reminds me, I was planning to write something about Sydney...and Jack Watts. Thanks for reminding me

I watched most of the game but did not see this incident, is their any footage going around?
Tackled Clint Jones who got the handball off to another Saint and the play moved on. Jones was on hands and knees, getting up, with Thomas on top of him. Thomas basically punched in the jaw from behind then.

Not many changes to be made after five last week. Bartram should be fit and Blease had another good game for Casey as did Petterd.
I reckon it will be:
In: Bartram
Out: Evans
Evans will be unlucky, no doubt, but Bartram's best 22. He needs to play on Krakouer, or Sidebottom.
Blease will no doubt get a game if Sylvia's thigh doesn't come up, and I'd say he should make his debut within the next few weeks.
-
The thing is, Thomas will get two weeks, max.
Compare that to Trengove's tackle...
-
Demonland, just. Moods really tend to swing around here.
-
Strauss beat Zaharakis and gathered 20 possessions himself. Considering his two 2010 games that's a massive step forward.
-
I'm hoarse from screaming at the game. HELL YES
I sounded like Caroline Wilson after the game, trust me.
-
Welcome to Demonland mate, and great first post. Can't get overhyped with one win an cruise through to QB. We're going to need to fight a lot harder to beat Collingwood.
-
Melbourne by four.
-
No 31? =(
Whoops. Forgot.

Oh, and more ugly
Absolutely NFI what number I'm getting on the clash jumper I'll get soon. Tossing up between 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13, 24, 27, 34, 35, 37, 38, 39, 40, 44, 47, 49 and 50.
-
The good
Everything, besides...
The bad
Sylvia's corky
The ugly
The drunk Essendon supporter who stood up on his chair behind the cheer squad and screamed 'ESSENDON'
-
Will be All-Australian. Probably not this year, but he's an insanely good defender.
-
Gun.
-
Happy birthday Kento.
What a f--king beauty, never seen the cheer squad celebrate more. Go Dees.
-
6 - Jared Rivers
5 - Jordie McKenzie
4 - Jordan Gysberts
3 - Stefan Martin
2 - Jack Trengove
1 - Jack Watts
There's about 15 players that deserve votes 1-4.
Edit: Slipped Junior Junior in at 5.

No the irritating thing was the opponent name was wrong.
What can I say, I'm anal retentive.
Auto complete. Google Chrome's fault, not mine.
-
Swan is a loss. Whilst I agree Pendlebury is better, the two together is what opponents fear. As for under two goals, can I have some of what you've had, cause it sounds fun
Haha, I'm not on anything, trust me
What I meant to say was that we need to be more concerned about a fit Pendlebury/Didak/Ball/Thomas rather than a fat and injured Swan.
And the margin? We're soft, aren't we? Collingwood will still come in expecting a cakewalk.
Edit: Like last year. Nobody gave us a chance...twice. Third time lucky, I reckon.

ff- Green Watts Howe
hf- Jurrah Sylvia Davey
Beautiful.

Can someone PLEASE change the thread title? It's irritating me.
Thanks!
What's irritating about it?
If you meant the 'Before it gets merged
' I was assuming that this thread would instantly be merged with the preview thread as Demonland does. I don't think he's been online though.

Isn't it great to see this young team up and ready to have a go!! Can't wait to see how they gel together. There could be some out-of-position, some being-bumped-off-the-ball easily, and some tired legs late in the 3rd quarter but we get to see our list on display, and hopefully they can take the game on.
And please, Dean Bailey, do NOT start the game with a spare man in defence, and play Watts in the forward half of the ground.
Jurrah for the sub - I hope. This could be a wake up call for him PLUS he could wreak havoc with fresh legs in the last quarter.
I really want to see Strauss get a chance to show his foot skill.
I really want to see Howe play his naturally attacking game.
I really want to see Gawn making life difficult for Ryder and Bellchambers.
I get to see Scully running again.
And Trenners returns with his skill nad poise.
I feel like Big Kev. I'm excited!!
.
Agree, but with Warnock out I'd assume Watts will play a Maxwell type loose defender role, and Frawley and Rivers will take Hille/Ryder/Bellchambers.
-
Would assume it's Jurrah's turn to be the sub.
Gysberts get Rising Star Nod

Have to be under 21 at the start of the year and have played less than 10 games in previous seasons.
