Just testing adding an image from an external site (postimages), using a photo I took on Monday following my chemo infusion, showing its affects on my hand, pretty much erasing my fingerprints (time to go out on a petty crime spree?)…

As an opening to his book launch of ‘Headonism’ at the Butchers Brew Bar, Peter performed three or four of the songs he co-wrote with Bon, but to be honest, I can’t recall if that was one of them. Peter is getting close to turning 80 now, and is still an amazing performer, having just returned from a tour to Adelaide. When he played with us in December he literally walked to the lane party, which admittedly wasn’t too far from his home, carrying his keyboard and a small amp…no doubt he’ll do the same when he plays with us next month. Such a lovely person and full of great anecdotes he shares when we occasionally meet over coffee.

Geez, you’ve been through the wringer… mine’s stage 4 colorectal with traces in the lungs and liver. Started off in 2023 with 25 sessions of radiotherapy, then 5 1/2 months of platinum based chemo (Oxaliplatin plus Fluorouracil) followed by 6 months of Irinotecan plus Fluorouracil and now I’m into my second month of Irinotecan plus Fluorouracil for who knows how long… I’ve taken breaks in between so I could play some gigs to bring some sanity back into my life.

I just had a look, and the Free plan says images up to 32mb… now is that a total allowance, in which case it is probably less that our account allowance here in Demonland. I’m also confused as I have no idea what “API access with 1,000 units per month” is referring to.

I think we’d probably need more space allowance if we were to create such a space… I’ve been having to constantly delete photos I’ve posted in my Ongoing Cancer Experience topic in the General Discussion forum as there simply isn’t enough space allocation; I can understand that maybe Demonland does have storage limitations and so each user’s allocation is based on some simple formula that uses the number of registered members and overall storage available, but nevertheless, maybe it’s still something that @Demonland could look at?

Thanks Layzie… I know that you’re one of the few here that have been following my journey closely, and I just wanted to let you know that it is people like you that are keeping me above ground. 🙏 I know that could probably be worded a lot better, but it’s an absolute truth, and me being the pragmatist that I am, face every moment never in doubt, or fearful, of anything, including my future. I’ve led a really fortunate life and experienced so much more than one person is worthy of (don’t worry, I’m not religious so I’m not going to credit any god with what I’ve been given), so whenever this cancer eventually tips me over the edge, no worries, I’m all good with that. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, no, I’ve not been given any bad news or a use by date, I’m just feeling a little melancholy is all 😉 Take care mate and I hope that some time our paths can cross and we can have a conversation over a coffee.

Can you or someone please provide a link.. I honestly cannot find it at all…I’ve looked on both the MFC app and their web site, and the latest reports etc that I can find, all seem to be about the intra-club match and injury reports.

I very much doubt he would have returned to his best, and I honestly don’t think he would have been terribly invested in the club, given that, and I’m purely guessing at this point and so may be wrong, he and King didn’t seem to hit it off too well. The other thing is that his delivery (along with Trac’s) had gone right off and he had never been good in front of goals to begin with. Personally, I see his loss as a great opportunity for us to rejuvenate our midfield, with Windsor, Rivers, Pickett, and Culley all likely to spend a lot of time there, along with old stalwarts in Steele and Viney. Exciting times ahead! As for Clarry, I seriously want to see him thrive at GWS, as I think a happy Clarry onfield will see a happier Clarry off field, and god knows he needs that. I’ll be watching him and getting behind him (except when we play them). The change of scenery plus the fact that he’ll have Hogan and Bedford there to keep him company, will do him good, plus GWS losing Green from their midfield will give him the opportunity to prove his worth.

I didn’t like it. I’ve never been a fan of his, although he’s always had excellent guitarists who went on to better things; Ian Rilen being a case in point, playing with Rose Tattoo and then moving on to X and Sardine IV, both infinitely better bands, in my opinion. You seem to have taken my comment personally? Are you related in some way?
