Chris Rogers is a very good player and would prob be the opening batsman for most countries but he is a victem as a guy that is only seen as an opening batsman and thats it. unfortunatly for him the aussies have been so settled up top for so long that aside from injuries he has barely had a look in, and the one chance he really had was when all the retirements happened and there was a sudden push for young and along comes Phillip Hughes. It sucks and so does his timing he makes all his runs at the same time that our current openers do as well, Him and Hodge (although he is way to arrogant) are prob 2 of the biggest hard luck stories in cricket in a long time.

Shame we are getting smashed early in the second test, will be hard to post a competitive score from 3/14 of 9 overs

Well first of all I meant to say like cousins but without the drugs and second from what he was to how he looks now its a massive change in only 12 months, I think he will bulk up to be a pretty decent size

I have a big fear that we may not recover in time, had it not been for the debt demolitio which was based around handouts then we would be totally screwed and people will get real tired of this real quick if ther club always has its hand out. We have consistantly been given extra funds by the AFL over the past few years if not more which has also helped us survive but again this will only last so long because the AFL has openly stated that they want a club to move out of Vic and if North keep on refusing I think the Afl will put the pressure onto us real soon. Now I dont know the specifics and im not an accountant but things have to change big time and the have to change fast if we are goin to survive in the current climate. This club is to old and to proud to just wither away and die so all you Dees out there sign up cos we all need to do our little bit. I will be signing up my family even my GF and she goes for Fremantle (I just wont tell her) and this will be our first time as members as we live in WA and obviously cant get to the MCG to often but at least I will know I tried. Sorry Dan but after seeing how he has developed over the past year with only one leg I dont think strengh will be to much of a problem in the future, There are fully devolped men that are playing eg houlihan however you spell it that just cant seem to bulk up, our own mcdonald is another example of a smaller bodied player that has done very well. I think he will become a player similar to Deledio from Richmond just without the sooky attitude and better second efforts. Although I see your point I just think your wrong on this sorry.

This is good there is nothing wrong with a bif of a debate. In my opinion all our depth is very young and very shallow. If we were to loose the likes of green bruce macdonaldx2 and a few other senior players it would spell disaster for us. Although it would be great for the young guys in gaining experience this would result in some nasty scoreboards, lets just hope we can introduce these kids at the righ times and give them the experience that they need while still getting some wins on the board. Depth is good but stability is better

If im bagging him then I appolagise that is not my intent, i am just putting my opinion foward and defending it when people disagree, I am not trying to turn people opinion around at all cos that is the beauty of personal opinion is it is very hard to change and people wont change mine as I dont expect them to change theirs. I agree its diff but who said the CHF has to be a tall just look at williams formally of the hawks who held down FF for several years and kicked plenty of goals. I just think that with his huge boot and accuracy in front of goals this would be perfect for him and being there also gives him a chance to push into the midfield when required. As iv said it is simply my opinion and I have been know to make one or 2 mistakes lol

I would have to agree with master as the only place I can see him having any impact is the ruck but with the inclusion of Gawn and Fitzpatrick is there any room there for him, I agree that he has potential but with a team starting to burst with potential does he have enough to push someone out of the team.
