  1. ... which for some of them is also the result of no/reduced pre-season, as noted by PR. Kent and Salem in that basket, throw in Dawes and Garland, can't remember who else.
  2. You don't use Tinder?
  3. Judging by reports, he's actually been pretty solid at Casey for a while now.
  4. 46% iffy last week. Based on that, the majority of times he gets the ball, it goes to the opposition.
  5. Another with a compromised pre-season. That he even made it back to senior's level this year is an achievement.
  6. Beat me to it ...
  7. Yep, always good to keep 'em guessing. No flies on Roos and co.

  9. Hogan not amongst them I imagine ... cough cough ...
  10. ... because there was a doping violation.
  11. Not when it's the opposition.
  12. No they shouldn't. There's no evidence that running your body into the ground during what is already a very long off-season has any long-term benefit.
  13. Re Jetta: Most of the day he seemed to be on Rhys Palmer (10), who managed 17 possessions.
  14. Sorry WJ, but if you sat through yesterday and think that it was Roos who let in the "negative thinking" ... Above the neck, the players are shot to pieces - and they were well before Roos arrived. I don't have an issue with what he said, partly because it's true, partly because I don't know what was actually said to the players or how it was addressed, and partly because I read it as expressing concern, not criticism. Performances like yesterday don't come about from a couple of interviews, a few harsh words, or any single event. They come from years and years of being at a "loser" club. For the older players, it's all they know, and for the younger players, it's all they've seen. There is hope, but it's going to take longer than a season. Though I think yesterday has shown everyone at the club just how far behind we really are. Sure, we can turn over players, but we've been turning over players for 7-8 years, with the same result.
  15. Not forgotten, just not executed with enough (or any) intent - and at this level, once that happens, you come undone.
  16. Neville Jetta: If only we could clone a version of him in every position. Never gives up, knows what to do and where to be, and generally takes the best disposal option. Puts many of his more-skilled team-mates to shame.
  17. Of those 6 names, I would be really surprised if any were traded .... - Michie wasn't disgraceful today - Riley still a young player, yet to manage a full pre-season/season, and has earned at least another season - Barry an even younger player, and has just been given a contract extension and see above As for the others, regardless of what you think: - Grimes isn't captain for nothing (even if we can't see it) - Watts has done what he's been asked (as per Roos) - Dawes is our only serious KPF, until Hogan comes back. With the likely departure of Frawley, Dawes is a must-keep.
  18. Jury's out I feel. Delivery and support are either non-existent or atrocious, so it's hard to judge his real worth or capability.
  19. They already know what's acceptable and what's not, yet they still delivered what they did today. That's the point.
  20. DE listed as 63% ... surprised it was even that high. Like his hustle and bustle, but for the moment at least, plays dumb football. Not Robinson Crusoe though. The difference to what happens when Jetta gets the ball, to what happens with half the others, is just night and day. Many of them just don't seem to have a feel for what's going to happen upfield where they're kicking to.
  21. Casey Scorpions ‏@CaseyScorpions 7m Great snap for goal by Jordie McKenzie. Scorps 42 vs FB 64. #Q4#6thmin#goscorps!
  22. Would explain low stats for latter two. Tappy ... forever injured?
  23. 3/4 time stats (you'll need to stand on your head though ...) https://twitter.com/CaseyScorpions/status/500839659040030720/photo/1
