    "SKULL"

Who are you and what have you done with old55? Has WJ highjacked your computer?
  4. The new job for Kleiman was hinted at by a question to Liam Pickering on Friday night. Who knows if it will make a difference in the Scully contract strategy?

  6. Cale hurt his knee at Princess Park, Liam did his shoulder against Adelaide in S.A.
  7. Thanks very much Tom for taking the time to post and explain the situation fully. Just another example of the improved communication from the MFC, there is so much to like about the way the club does things these days.
  8. James played in the ressies for us, I think it was after his first olympics. BRFE called him the most unco footballer he had even seen.
  9. It is quite common, what would you prefer?
  10. I don'tknow if this has been already posted, but I just jumped onto Nathan's website for a bit of gander, and he has written a very moving piece on his Tiwi experience - http://www.nathanjones.com.au/ Tiwi Times. Our football club does a hell of a lot right these days.
  11. Not to mention Russell Robertson, Troy Broadbridge, Aaron Davey, Austin Wonaemirri, Matthew Warnock etc.......
  12. We will continue to see articles like this until Tom signs a new contract.
  13. The only advantage that I can see here is that we can pick a mature age rookie and if good enough nominate him to be able to play without the need of a Long Term Injury, as Fremantle did last year with Barlow.
  14. At the same time that Watts, Bail, Bate and Dunn signed theirs - http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/jack-watts-signs-with-demons-for-three-years/story-e6frf9jf-1225922169970?from=public_rss
  15. Neither would I.
  16. Firstly I agree that if Cam hasn't re-signed then he should not risk injury training with the club, but that leads to an interesting question - How are players that are invited to train with the club covered? Someone said TMac was training on Monday, how would he be covered?
  17. It remains to be seen if he is anywhere near as good as Greig, but that is who he reminds me of what little I have seen of him.
  18. The fixture has been released - http://www.afl.com.au/portals/0/afl_docs/fixture_document.pdf
  19. Yes it was Nasher. I should have added in my post "I was sorry to see Travis traded to Brisbane but knew he was the only player we had that at the time that we could get a first round pick for, and it was worth the risk. Could not be happier with the guy we have given the number 16 to, Jack will be better than Travis."
  20. Hopefully it is not over for Travis and another club picks him up. Could greatly improve the chances of a St Kilda or Western Bulldogs in getting closer to a flag. Otherwise as has been said a very sad end to what should have been a great career. Travis was my favorite player from the time he was drafted, I marvelled at his effortless skills, and I think that is where one of the issues may have been, it was effortless and came very easy. I don't know if he ever got himself fit enough, but he very rarely played 4 quarters, had huge problems handling a hard tag, but when he turned it on there was none better in the skills department. I lived in hope that each year he would turn it around and the stars would align and Trav would get the message and he would show the football world., I am still waiting. Was Neale hard enough on him from the start? Should the club have done more to keep him on the straight and narrow and away from bad influences? As my mate Tim would say, "stop making excuses for him". Good luck Travis.
  21. I concur. Was said to have elite disposal by foot when we drafted Rohan. Didn't show much first year for Casey, but certainly looked fine in the Red and Blue this year. My Bail moment - Against Richmond where he grabbed the ball away from Martin did a blind turn and drilled a pass (to Watts I think, for a goal not quite sure).
  22. I believe it was Kyle that asked to be traded due to lack of opportunaties (playing most of the year at Casey). James has been signed for another 2 years so I guess we will know one way or another after that. Looked at the start of the season he was given the role as designated kicker from behinds, but didn't really look confident in that role.
  23. I see Jack playing the role that we wanted Hale for. Playing out of the goal square and 5 or so minutes a quarter in the ruck. Maybe not next year, but maybe 2012, depends on his body development. More agile than Hale ATM.
