Gee Freo & west coast are disappointing this weekend. At least make Essendon earn there spot in the 8 & not just give it to them. Now it will be worse if Collingwood win

On the sunday footy show this morning they showed footage of max running down into the 50 & he actually points where he wanted lever to kick it & he pin pointed it perfectly

So the perfect day today is Freo winning getting into the 8 then Collingwood beating Essendon to deny them a finals berth

Whoever was on Dangerfield in the final quarter well done. I did notice he was on the bench a bit but to keep him to 0 possessions is a huge win for us.

So next week surely we choose Adelaide to play at. No way would we choose the Gabba or metricon as that would give brisbane an advantage. Tassie isn't great for us either.

When lever had the ball I said straight away kick it to max. He was in the perfect position. It was a good kick. My god the belief this team has is unbelievable.

Wow I'm shaking, what the hell just happened?

Ok so we get the worst game out of the way, we cannot play like this again surely, McDonald, Jackson, May and Fritta cannot play 2 bad games in a row. Get it out of our system and focus on next week. We can take confidence that we have beaten port this year at there home ground. Our midfield will just have to be much better next week. At least finish off this quarter well.

Typical Melbourne, all season we have sat on top and in the final game we will butcher a chance to play a home final somewhere, instead we will have to travel to Adelaide to play port in front of there fans.

Well that certainly escalated turning into crap. Our pressure is non existent. We miss tackles, we are not manning up, they are just waltzing through the middle doing what they please. Hawkins as usual is getting on top of us and we got smashed in the midfield. Holy heck I can't remember this season in a game where we have been so out of it like that.

Not a bad quarter. But we need to take those chances and viney really should have kicked that. But Pickett looks like he is really on. Him kicking that goal may have given him a huge boost of confidence and he is looking great. I think I'd rather see brisbane finish 5th because I'd be more confident of them beating essendon than if the bulldogs finish 5th and have to play the bummers.

Gee what a great game to watch. Our game better not be that close tomorrow night. The dogs started so well and port just couldn't kick a goal. Basically was only in front for about a minute but there leaders stepped up when needed.

Does it fell weird as a Melbourne supporter that we have already sewn up a finals spot. Like it won't come down to the final round we are already in there. Our only stress is wrapping up top spot.

Hey has anyone else started thinking through the scenario if we are in the prelim, it's the 25 minute mark and we are going to win. Goody soon has to start thinking about getting good players off for the big one so we can't have a risk of an injury or worse a concussion. What 4 players would you take off? I'm thinking Maxy, May, Lever then either Oliver or Trac.

Just sit there in shock thinking oh my god I have actually seen one. Id buy the dvd and re watch it with the different radio commentary teams, I'd buy memorabilia and just be so happy. I have seen 4 storm premierships and have premiership dvds and framed premiership photos on my wall. I'd love a melbourne demons one.
