  1. I agree- and really hope he does.Seems to be training well. But he is NO CERTAINTY.
  2. Who are the four? Please advise.
  3. Both are really struggling fitness wise.Gysberts is really feeling it after say 200 metres of the 400 metre drills. You can here him moaning about it. Blease, today, seemed a little better, but for midfielders or potential to become , they are behind bigtime. Also, please note, osh Mahoney told me today, they will be at Casey on Wednesday's starting from this Wednesday., Gosh's paddock -Monday & Friday's at this stage.
  4. Well done with your report- I held back until this post - good on ya. I heard the same re Sylvia, being set up as an example but definitely got a calf.May have come from the accident.
  5. Well I am rapt we are looking at least at another tall rookie to supplement our list. This draft has got plenty and all will take time.We have many young ones already however I feel that there is doubts over Davis( although he looks great this pre season, Cook whom wasn't sighted today,Sellar- who knows?therefore we need at least one rookie to be a tall.
  6. Both- keep his fitness up- this is the most intense running he has ever done but also to keep his spirits up and assist his technique.
  7. Looks a speedy type at training today. But didn't do much first up.
  8. Name: Carl Nicolson Nickname: Nicko D.O.B: 26/12/1992 Height: 186 Weight: 80 Position/s: Half Back Goals: 0 Games: 0 Seasons at Glenelg: Glenelg Juniors Fletcher Roberts (I was told today he is currently 197 cms tall) however the AFL says he is 194 cms tall refer http://www.afl.com.a...x?newsId=123381 Jai Sheahan -http://www.afl.com.a...x?newsId=123381---practiced today and showed he was a good kick. There were 3 others who trained today- was told they were young Casey players there for a look and see.
  9. Just been told they will be announced this afternoon - Aaron Hall is training with Gold Coast.
  10. We have several players whom stripped today along with our draftees. I could only identify one - Fletcher Robnerts who kicked 5 goals to seal the Under 18's grand final this year. I expect the AFL to list the players later today or tomorrow.
  11. Several possible rookies trained with us today- Lin Jong wasn't one- however did notice Fletcher Roberts was there.I refer to this clipping with regards to his background.http://www.smh.com.au/afl/afl-news/dragons-charge-to-tac-cup-victory-20110925-1krrj.html
  12. Just returned from training where it was brisk but steady as the last few weeks has been. All draftees trained although Taggart was very brief. A couple I did not spot at all at training was Bail & Cook. We had some extras training today-I was told these 5 were our permission to train lot- 1 stood out to me- Fletcher Roberts.I await others to report for you.
  13. As DD has announced, the MFC website says: Training Times The next open training session is: Gosch's Paddock - Monday 28th November - 9:45am (Corner of Swan Street and Olympic Boulevard) All draftees should be there, let's get down there and spur them all on. Demon Disciple can you write a report out for other Demonlanders please?
  14. Gary Lyon started his career as a wingman before going forward as a CHF then FF.I think he will play mainly as a wingman this year floating all over the ground.
  15. Totally agree-the big push for our recruitment staff for the 2012 draft ,apart from Viney, is to pick up quality, skilled, possibily experienced midfielders.I think we need Kerr like types. If anyone interstater wants to come home,we should sincerely look at them-a Dangerfield or a Gaff would fit into our list like a glove on a hand.If not we need to vigoursly gain the best -that is available.
  16. I agree- and to put it bluntly -he was saying to us ,Demonlanders-Stiff cheddar.
  17. Manson is back home, Been there a fortnight as you rightly state. He will be picked up- hopefully by us,even if it may require a heavy workload to condition him here, especially as you have stated we seem to have released Ian Flack.
  18. No one- this to me is our major weakness.I think Neeld realizes this and this is why he is trying to use Bate here with his strength in getting the ball out.In virtually all drills I have seen so far at training, he is utilizing Bate in this regard.
  19. I can assure you he is quicker than several budding midfielders right now. Also his strength will be a major factor in this regard.
  20. Although I think this could be classified as a racist statement,I do accept that I did put up Serhat a couple of years ago,but I never thought you wouldn't comment on names since your fellow mod,WJ, put up the name of Zyrus Waylen Manson.I would have loved to see you take on the boss in this respect.Maybe you have eaten too many rotten Tasmanian apples. This would be your only excuse. Furthermore, maybe, just maybe, you could look at these fine young footballers whom may have been new to this country and value what they are doing for football. The AFL is trying to turn the game into a world game and, I for one would love to see our club, MFC, try to gain Chinese athletes to try out our game. I suggest you view-http://www.bomberbli...pic=60646&st=60, to gain further insight seeing you are so far away from the mainland and don't get the opportunity to watch these young possible draftees. As for Serhat Temel, I am not the only one whom thought Temel had ability and 1 supporter thought he should be No.1 selection for this draft,refer.. 27 Jul 2011, 23:51 #11 Splendini vbmenu_register("postmenu_21751918", true); BigFooty Legend Carlton Blue Grit Joined: Oct 2004 Re: Number one draft picks Serhat Temel __________________ On the early bootswagon Therefore, I suggest, you should not stoop so low and be so scarcastic.
