I think this draft was poor, to much similar types..needed a tall forward and a ruck type in my opinion..

It is my understanding,Tom has just been interviewed by Essendon ,awaiting Woosha to come back to Essendon to qualify things He would make a wonderful get in my opinion.Got a 72 hit out one week followed up by 60 in the VFL.Not bad indeed.Killed Preuss when they came up against each other.Pruess was not really rated in the VFL this year.He had quite a disappointing year.Tom would still have a 5/6;years ahead of him with a very strong developed body already. i hope J-Money, Vines and John have a real good look at this bloke.....a great pick up indeed.

Makes good sense....did well in this position as a youngster.I watched him play spectacularly of West Aust under 18 .Actually he was drafted as a 17 year old playing in this position.

That’s the problem, we have gone for kids and they have failed...need mature bodies for this role.

Tom played ruck and forward for Bulldogs VFL this year, knows Hannan real well. Had over 70 hit outs one game followed by 60 next game with 6 contested marks. Kicks like a mule - these new rule changes will suit him down to the ground. Had several injuries but fully on top of them now. Looks like being delisted - great pick up in my opinion. Have recommended him to recruitment. Known to Chris Connolly. To me a great pick up if can pass medical. Better than Preuss in my opinion. More experienced, better ruckman whom can go forward and kick goals.

It is my belief that Tyson is at least a second round pick ,The North Nelbourne back up player is a 3rd round pick up at best seeing Tom Hickey has gone to West Coast fir a second round pick.Your thoughts, please ?

Been told today by a very reliable source that Preuss to MFC is Definately on, confirmation to be made after finals.

I believe this is equally as Jake Lever’s recruitment.Needs strength and experience at the top. well done to all.

Agree- Whilst first pick should be best going around ( also would like it to be Brayshaw),we need good TALLS, both Back & Forward especially re Chips & Hoges un reliability.Chips may go at year end & Hogan, the following, thus need to get a year I to a couple of TALLS this draft.Great draft to release several players whom are on the edge but just may not make it such as Nicho, Strauss, Evans etc..

3rd pick is the right scenario for us...for the reasons you rightly point out...we made the. Is take not taking Wines and going for another light framed footballer would be a huge mistake at this time.Toumpass may make it, but may not as well.Stretch ifs 3 years of making a mark in AFL.

If indeed he turned out like Mitchell, we should be wrapped.To have an upcoming midline with Tyson, Salem, Viney,a fit Trengrove, a developing Kent , along with Jones and others will make a greater team for us. We need another couple of TALLS and we are on our way IMO.
