  1. My reference to Rivers was in reply to the post above.
  2. It was a telstra dome official for 'yelling too loud'. No profanities, i understand football is a family sport and wouldn't bring myself down to the level of collingwood supporters by blatantly offending. They already have a strict dress code, maybe an impending decible level is next.
  3. Miller is one Melbourne player who this year has tried his guts out. His wasn't good last week, but has always presented and provided an option. Stop trying to put him in the back line and let him settle into a position. He continually is an easy scape goat for all melbourne supporters. He was taken in the 50's and wont be a riewoldt. Rivers is the rock in our back line, can't remember him kicking too many goals to date.
  4. Just a quick note to the (bad language edited by mod) of a bloke who had the gaul to have a go at my mate and me for yelling too loud in the medallion club today. (I know is shouldn't have been there to begin with) We are 0-6 and the boys are having a red hot crack when this clown came up and asked us to 'quieten down' and respect those around us. Mate, edit off we are supporting our team through hard times and i will SCREAM week in week out regardless. We have both been to all 7 games so far and as a supporter and member will give our boys the support they deserve, especailly when they put it on the line like today. STOP RIPPING THE SOUL OUT OF FOOTBALL.
  5. The only place for Miller is in the forward line. He gives his all at every contest, but seems impaired in the back line.
  6. Newton is still a way off surely. Let alone giving us a focal point up forward.
  7. This thread is laughable at best, who is going to be flavour of the week next week, Neitz back to sandy? Surely not you jest, i wouldn't put it past some.
  8. I shudder to think what may eventuate if Paul Johnson is to line up at all on Lade or Brogan. He is from the dinosaur age and moves accordingly.
  9. Not that i was booing, however, the boos were for headland being found guilty of striking and then having a 6 week ban being overturned. He should not have been playing
  10. Today we had 19 fit players from quarter time, and they battled it out. I really don't know what else you can expect when you are 3 men down on the bench. Today's effort was far from inept, inept was the crowd of 16,000.
  11. Who would you rather be playing at the moment, ben holland at chf? Granted Miller's skills aren't fantastic but i would have him rather than holland. Miller is an easy scape goat far too many times. He is working hard for the club at the moment. Has kicked goals the past couple when few others have stood up. thoughts?
  12. I to think Bate will be a good player for us. He is still young and knows how to get the footy. The concerns are his disposals and leg speed aren't quite there. Disposals you can improve with experience and training. He has always looked slow and really struggles to stay with his opponent. On most occasions when he has the ball his pace gets him into trouble putting pressure on to his delivery and decision making. He will be a good player. Dunn was good today and miller presenting is a step in the right decision. - That in the back on miller in the goal square was criminal!
  13. Moloney and Johnstone may be late withdrawals. There has been changes to Sandy 1's team apparently. I really hope not
  14. That was farsical. what an abismal display. I find it hard to see why bizzel can't get a game at the moment. The only reason i can come up with is that the club would rather play some youth, but then how is a fringe player like godfrey who is mediocre at his very best, get a game in front of chris johnson. You cant win premierships with players like godfrey in your team. Its as simple as that. Paul Johnson was terrifyingly horrible. Anyone in their right mind can't dispute that. He is another ben holland in the making. Its going to be a long week.
  15. sylvia may have hurt his quad at training. Might be just hear say.
  16. receiving a hard tag while sewell(his opponent) managed to rack up a lazy 20 possies on him......just didn't work hard enough and at one point threw his hands in the air when mcdonald missed him in the forward line. He looks underdone from that toe maybe, still. Thought miller suprisingly was admirable even though he managed to cough up a chest mark just before 3q time on the 50m arc. Bruce is a very good player and to blame him today is LUDACRIS. Just TOOOOOO soft from a slow weak sh*t melbourne.........again. You wait so long every off season with bated breath and it blows being 0 - 2 again with geelong freo and syd to come. SH*T.
