Kevin Bartlett has a hidden agenda behind his take, on the sling tackle today and on anything involving the MFC... KB has a promotional position with the Tigers for the Fighting Tiger Fund. It seems to me, that KB is using his media position to pump up the tigers every chance he gets, while slandering anything to do with the MFC... since the start of the year, KB has not said anything positive about the MFC. Last year when Dustin Martin was under poaching threat from GWS, KB was adament that this should not be aloud to happen to a developing club. Now that it's happening to the MFC, he is ok with this happening. He's even called "MFC supporters sooks", for complaining about the Scully issue. When we beat the Tigers a couple of weeks ago, he interview Hardwick. the interview was base around how the tigers let that happen? (they lost becuse their [censored] KB) He never mentions how bad tigers were over the weekends? hmmm why is it that KB only has a problem with the sling tackle when a MFC player performs it? He could have said the same thing when Joel Corey from Geelong got off, but he didn't....hmmm....

Here we go again.....

If that's how the year pans out and we play finals as a result, then i'd be disappointed. Because we wouldn't have ernt the right to be in the top eight. I'd only be happy for the MFC to play in the finals, if they win some games agains the top teams(Geelong, Hawthorn etc...).

The umpiring has been very bad and one sided for a couple of years. Sometimes when i watch a match(not just MFC matches), the umpiring makes me really wonder about how ligitimate afl actually is. It's almost like the free kicks go to the highest bidder, at the start of the year. Or the AFL deciphers who's going to win, base around the best financial out come for the AFL(collingwood premiership? very convinant considering the AFL needed a big injection of cash, for the expansion teams). It's not just the free kicks that get paid, it's also the one's that don't get paid. It's become a blight on the game and should be stopped, but nothing will be done because our game is so tribal and we are all so happy take the BS! free kicks that they give us(like the 50 metre penalty's given to us last year agains the Bombers)they were BS, but hay i loved it.... Who knows this issue could be bigger than even i could imagin, Drugs? gambleing? were there is money tobe made, there is money being made....

Who knows? all this could lead to players faking concussion, to put opposition players out for a couple of weeks..

Got stuck at a gathering with some part-time bulldogs supporters, would love to do that again NOT! The problem i have with this match is, i could pick the result before the first bounce. with the small amount of vision we got of the warm-ups, i could tell the motivation wasn't there. when is this horror year going to end?

It would be covered up, like all the illegal deals are in the AFL.

Aussie will be doing it hard for a while, after his and his families great loss. I'd like to see the MFC help him through these dark times and offer Aussie a one year extention. On the minimum payments that is aloud in the afl, maybe even send a trainer up north to help monitor his fitness through the pre-season. Aussie is a must keep for mine, hate to think that this is the end of Aussie's career...

It's not the expansion into Western sydney that is bothering supporters , it's the blatant salary cap breaching and draft fixing that is hurting the game. Why even have a salary cap or draft? Mate, the NRL would be laughing at the AFL's blatant cheating of it's own rules. Better put some money on GWS to win the 2015/16 flags now, Because the cups are already engraved...

They don't have to speak to Scully, the media is doing it for them . GWS are now turning the heat up on their media push for Tom Scully, the real offer will come soon Tom.... This is a waiting game for all involved. Yes there is a deadline, they can't sign Scully in round 2 next year... North of 7 million for 6 years, if thats the offer, i'd say he's gone.... But who knows?

Maybe the AFL should have aloud the existing clubs to nominate 5-10 players to keep, Then GWS would be able to approach the rest all year. This would seem alot fairer, then straight out getting robbed....

Gary's slip up in the heat of the moment comments, on footy classified, were ridiculous. In today's day and age, why would people even think of commenting on someone's colour or nationality? Racism is archaic and primative and does not belong in society today... No need to slip up in the heat of the moment, if it dosen't even cross your mind...

Totally agree, Tom Scully will be an elite player in Aussie Rules, it's not his kicking skills that got him all this media attention. By the way, hang on , who do we play next week? Western Bulldogs... Heard the Western Bulldogs are into Scully BIG TIME!!!
