It's the mental crises of posters projected onto the club.- The Coaches Jet Off to the US
Continuously trying to develop and complicate the gameplan stifles the players and bogs them down. Goodwin needs to pull back a bit and let the players play to their strengths, just "trying harder" isn't going to help anyone. Getting away and learning from different organisations offers fresh perspective and can help blow away the cobwebs.- The Coaches Jet Off to the US
Ok boomer- Dylan Stephens (Drafted by Sydney)
We don't need superstars. We need solid players with speed and elite disposal who can play 200 games for the club.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL

A history of drug use doesn't necessarily make you a [censored]- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
You might want to put a big asterisk on this post. Because come round 10 next year and Harley's still in the rehab group a bunch of posters on here will be using it as evidence of the certain demise of the club.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
No different to about half the comp then- 2020 AFL Fixture
You'll get weaker teams making finals if the 9th and 10th sides play the bottom teams double up and 7th and 8th play the top. Plus there's 18 teams, not 16.- The Coaches Jet Off to the US
They could save a bunch of cash and log on here to engage with the Mensa crowd- 2020 AFL Fixture
And if we had a better draw from a financial perspective you'd be complaining it's much harder from a competitive perspective Some people will just complain no matter what It's time we stopped relying on opposition supporters to boost crowd numbers. We had over 50k members in 2019 and had a predominantly Melbourne crowd to both MCG finals in 2018 (90k plus). We have the supporters to make money off any games it's up to us to show up and support the team- 2020 AFL Fixture
We tried that a few years back. Lost by 31 goals.- 2020 AFL Fixture
At least 8 others do- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
What are his mental issues?- 2020 AFL Fixture
Would you rather play Essendon at docklands? It gives us an extra game at the G and we have games vs Richmond Collingwood and Carlton- 2020 AFL Fixture
North don't want to play Collingwood and Essendon down there because they make money off those games in Melbourne. Our supporters don't go to docklands so when we play north they lose money (or font make much). That's why we play down in Tassie. You want games in Vic you have to turn up- 2020 AFL Fixture
We played Bombers as home team last year because we were away on Queens Birthday. AFL said years ago that the reason we didn't host Essendon was because we got to host the Pies. So we should theoretically get home games against the Bombers every other year.- 2020 AFL Fixture
It's a glass half empty/full scenario really. At the end of the day the major factor in all this will be our performance. Play like 2019 and it won't matter who we play and when we will lose out. Play like 2018 and the sky's the limit.- 2020 AFL Fixture
We're hosting Anzac Eve and Queens Birthday plus a home game against Carlton. Plus the bank from our NT home game vs Adelaide. Pretty good from a financial standpoint.- 2020 AFL Fixture
We play Adelaide in Alice Springs May 17th I think - hope its a similar result to our last game against them there- 2020 AFL Fixture
We haven't played interstate in round 1 for over 20 years, can't say we aren't due- 2020 AFL Fixture
We kicked 2 goals- 2020 AFL Fixture
