Getting away and learning from different organisations offers fresh perspective and can help blow away the cobwebs.

Would you rather play Essendon at docklands? It gives us an extra game at the G and we have games vs Richmond Collingwood and Carlton

North don't want to play Collingwood and Essendon down there because they make money off those games in Melbourne. Our supporters don't go to docklands so when we play north they lose money (or font make much). That's why we play down in Tassie. You want games in Vic you have to turn up

We played Bombers as home team last year because we were away on Queens Birthday. AFL said years ago that the reason we didn't host Essendon was because we got to host the Pies. So we should theoretically get home games against the Bombers every other year.

It's a glass half empty/full scenario really. At the end of the day the major factor in all this will be our performance. Play like 2019 and it won't matter who we play and when we will lose out. Play like 2018 and the sky's the limit.

We're hosting Anzac Eve and Queens Birthday plus a home game against Carlton. Plus the bank from our NT home game vs Adelaide. Pretty good from a financial standpoint.

We play Adelaide in Alice Springs May 17th I think - hope its a similar result to our last game against them there

We haven't played interstate in round 1 for over 20 years, can't say we aren't due
