  1. I wouldn't worry too much, I doubt anyone really thought you wanted the city of churches turned into Fallujah.
  2. [censored] off with this negative [censored]
  3. I thought Petracca was decent yesterday, won several clearances (he did tend to blaze away with them though), kicked an important goal in the 3rd from outside 50 and continued to run and present options. I think people are being a but harsh on Petracca, Oliver was phenomenal but I thought Petracca played well also (barring that late fumble on the wing).
  4. We're not dropping/resting Jordon, Jesus H Christ. Young player has one less than stellar game - stop the presses! He's been great this year and even yesterday was still applying pressure through the middle, laid a good tackle early and was rewarded with a free.
  5. Percentage won't matter after we beat then next week and go 4 pts clear ?
  6. He was in beast mode last night, hope he continues that form next week.
  7. They clearly had a plan to transition the ball quickly by foot from defense and go through the corridor at every chance to break up our zone/press. Worked magnificently and hopefully we can take a lot out of it. I felt from early in the game we needed a cool head to try and take the pace out of the game, usually that's Salem but we had no one step up and show that leadership that was required. Very interested to see how we rebound from this over the next fortnight, couldn't ask for two bigger tests. I think I still would rather lose like we did last night than lose like the Dogs did against Richmond
  8. I'm not commenting on whether I think he should be dropped or not, I'm saying there's no way the coaches will drop him. I'm not his biggest fan by any means.
  9. Adelaide supporters on Big Footy seem adament the ball deflected off Spargo and hence not deliberate. I dunno, I can't bring myself to watch it again just yet.
  10. Out: Jetta, Weideman In: Salem, Sparrow If we're serious about winning next week I think we should go back to having 2 tall forwards plus Fritsch, adding a third seems to have upset the balance of the team. We need an extra small to help lock the footy in and pressure the opposition exits from our forward 50. If we're still playing with our forward setup to try and see what will work Brown comes in for Weid. I don't think Melksham gets dropped he was pretty good early, but I want Sparrow back in the team. Only way Jordon gets dropped is if he needs a rest, otherwise any talks of he, Hunt, Petty, Fritsch, Kozzie, Spargo etc etc getting dropped are fanciful and ridiculous.
  11. People were panned because every week we are told it's a "danger game". Which games aren't danger games?
  12. I thought the were ok, we got a few decisions going our way as well. The two howlers at the end, the free against Lever, the first deliberate and the 50 against Max were all very tough to swallow but crows supporters would have a few they could isolate as bad calls too. My big take away from the umps is they don't like Petracca. It feels like every week he has really bad calls going against him, tonight there were 2 clearly bad calls. He got one back and nailed the goal from 50 but it seems like prior opportunity doesn't exist for him.
  13. Couldn't agree more, don't know why he's not getting a game.
  14. Agreed I thought it was a good game too, would have been great to watch as a neutral. Pity we lost though! Agree about the forward pressure as well, ANB, Spargo and Kozzie might be better off with another player helping to pressure and lock the ball in like Sparrow instead of a tall who can't mark like Weid/Briwn.
  15. I agree and it's coincided with us bringing an additional tall into the side (first Brown then Weid). Correlation isn't always causation but it makes you wonder.
  16. I guess it's better than stagnating and regressing isn't it?
  17. It happens
  18. The Fritsch dribble that should have gone to Trac was the one. Ah well, let's see how they rebound
  19. I don't know if Brown will come in. I'd rather see Sparrow or Viney come in I think, we were at our best earlier this year with TMac and Jackson forward, an extra tall limits our forward half defensive pressure. Interesting to see how the coaches as much as the players respond to this
  20. We're 9-1 mate, lighten up ?
  21. We got a few our way as well can't really complain about the umps. Missed Salem big time, needed a cool head to slow things down and no one wanted to take it on themselves to do it Clarry and Petracca were huge just couldn't get us over the line. TMac, Weid, Fritsch all pretty quiet. Move on to the Doggies.
  22. Was a great game pity we had to lose ?
  23. I knew it! ?
  24. Much better the last 15 minutes or so. Pressure and we got our defensive game working. Spargo, AND and Kozzie stepped up. Finish them off this quarter Demons
