  1. Utopia, Hollow Men, Frontline, The Late Show - absolutely brilliant
  2. So what do you think is their agenda?
  3. It wouldn't really surprise me if that is the case. It's nowhere near what it was in previous eras in large part due to changes in society and the demographic of AFL crowds compared to previous generations.
  4. They're not journalists, they're "reporters"
  5. To me that's the whole point of this research - to have some verifiable data that can be used to put pressure on the AFL to take real action. Having said that, besides the Adam Goodes incidents (which I only witnessed on tv) the only real racism I can recall witnessing was at a Saints game in the late 90s. This Saints supporter was getting stuck into Farmer making idiotic comments about petrol sniffing etc I called him out on it and asked him if he had forgotten about a guy named Nicky Winmar. We went on to belt them in that game (98 semi) so he was pretty quiet after that anyway. I generally sit at ground level in the AFL members but I reckon you get more of the idiots sitting in GA or up on level 4 particular those groups of younger guys who go to the footy to get [censored] and mouth off. You probably don't see that as much in the MCC or club reserved members areas.
  6. Didn't you post "of course there is racism" - yet you think there is an agenda by these researchers to make out as though there is racism when there isn't despite admitting there is?
  7. No-one is taking on Grundy's contract and De Goey's value will be at its lowest ebb at the moment (pending outcome of his court case as well)
  8. I don't think they are really worried about the teachers - it's all the parents mingling/hanging around during drop off/pick up time especially primary schools.
  9. Is this on DemonWiki? @Supermercado might be interested in adding it if not
  10. I've got it somewhere I'm pretty sure, will try and upload it this weekend
  11. We can leave the home but where can we go? Ridiculous you still can't have visitors over, I don't think many people will be taking these rules seriously. It's great the kids are back at school though, really there was no need to keep them home these last two weeks. They need the interaction and support and positive reinforcement, being stuck at home was unnecessary.
  12. De Goey ripped us apart that day too. 2018 was a long time ago.
  13. Would've been good to have one for 2018 despite the ending
  14. Awesome work thanks mate. I've got a decent collection of old Melbourne games as well, I've been meaning to upload them for a long time might try over the long weekend if we're still stuck at home.
  15. If the governments were serious about ensuring Australia can carry on BAU they would cease all international arrivals until we have a proper quarantine system in place and a healthy majority of people vaccinated.
  16. Yes!!! Not only the ones for the club but also That Was The Season That Was and the ones for each decade (Sensational 70s, Electrifying 80s and 90s The Decade That Delivered). I'm fortunate enough to have obtained most (all?) of That Was The Season That Was from 1978-2001 unfortunately there were a couple years missing in the late 80s when I think Broadcom had the rights and channel 7 didn't do it. I have to revisit the 98 one Hotter Than Hell - Demon Attack 94 got a huge run when I was a kid and the 2000 one I watched a few times as well but I don't think I ever had a copy of 98. Will have to search it out on YouTube.
  17. Perhaps the Hawks game? Would mean 3 consecutive weeks of travel though, so yeah the GWS makes the most sense (assuming NT let us in).
  18. Windy Hill 1990
  19. My sister finally got around to getting hers today as well
  20. Not worried at all
  21. Yes, and more than I can ever remember
  22. If we win those 3 there's a good chance we won't lose for the rest of the season.
  23. I'm pretty sure the curves been flattened out now. I was all for the lockdowns last year while they got their [censored] sorted but this can't just keep going unabated, especially for a virus that has around a 2-3% mortality rate. Shutdown any international travel until they get the quarantine facilities built and the vaccine is rolled out on a large scale and let the rest of us get on with our lives.
