has anybody else noticed the bullsh1t lies that the MFC continuously feeds us? whether its injuries or excuses, it simply portrays a very weak club and im bloody over it. but its the crap they sell us about injuries tgat drives me nuts.. im sure im not the only one who noticed Watts didnt play the majority of the last quarter.. so why wait til Thursday to tell us he hurt his hammy in Brisbane? it sounds exactly the same as Bryce Gibbs' hammy strain which they confirmed on Monday. and Clarks "sprained foot"? clearly it wasnt a sptain and Clark would have known the club were lying too.. and then you have Vineys injury.. its his 2nd game and he cops a knock.. yet they selfishly play him for a few more games underdone and unfit clearly.. its all just a bit selfish and immature.. but maybe its just me..

dont always pay attention to the stats.. go watch first quarter today he laid at keast 3 tackles.. the stats only register when a play is taken to the ground..

Mcdonald can not win a one on one as a KEY DEFENDER! and he burns his kicks EVERY TIME! so yes.. hes a liability at the moment.

hey guys i have noticed lately there has been a hell of alot more foot stress fracture/ligament etc injuries in the AFL... it got me thinking.. is there more to it? eg. are the boots different.to how they were 10-20 years ago.. or are the surfaces alot harsher on the plauers feet these days.. just curious if anyone knows better..

Melbourne FC sucks? Hate watching the games? No reason to look forward to next year? Footy is killing you right now? Never seen a MFC Premiership? i know.. and i understand.. but i have faith. Maybe not the faith that we will win a trophy in the next 5 years, just faith that it wont be long until i love footy again. i barrack for a team called Southampton in English Premier League.. we were never a force, but were always around in the Premier League. then one day we got relegated.. the next year we went Bankrupt and into Administration and relegated AGAIN and woukd start the following season on -10 points. it was at this stage i gave up any belief of seeing my boys fly high again. but we found as a team the Will and Determinatikn to say "this isnt Southampton as it should be.. we belong in the Premier League! and we fought our way back into the Premier League and earned iur respect back from our Peers and the Media. And its given me the belief to have faith in the team i love no matter HOW BAD THINGS SEEM! Im not anyone, im a nobody, just an average guy who loves.his footy, and as much as i hate right here n now i love the fact that like Southampton we can and WILL bounce back again! its the Demons, we never do things the easy way! so just remember your favourite MFC memories.. Flower.. Jakovich.. Farmer.. whatever it may be, and just know that u will one day soon have that same excitement about footy again.. just keep strong and keep believing! thats all really..

Woosha will play Hurn on Col if he is in the forward line and after a quiet game by Shannon last week, he is gonna tear Colin a new asswhole. i say put Col on the half back flank and make him accountable, but give him the freedom to run from behind the ball and use his disposal as a focal point (aka EMULATE Shannon Hurn) in return id drop Gillies and put Rodan to use his experience on Hurn in a run with.. thats my thought..

Neil Craig was interviewed today and he mentioned the players could take alot of Culture from the Storm.. he loves the way they go.about it and came back last year afyer being written.off after 5 losses in a row.. seems like he may have had a say in it..

you may be surprised with PETTERD'S inclusion this week, but you'll find he won't play in defence, but he will almost definately play in the forward line, in a Defensive Role on Joel McDONALD, who's been in great form running off half back, i just think you'll find he's been brought in to try stop that! And Nathan Jones will be a late inclusion for McLEAN, who from the whispers i've heard will be a late withdrawal with injury.. Just a few points for you guys! Cheers! Go dees!

So you don't see Morton playing a Murphy role? Very VERY similar players, tall, both built like a cigarette, but both good footy brains. Murphy doesn't contest packs etc, just uses his brain to find space. Name one other player right now who could hold it down without leaving another position vacant. Newton = no Hughes = untested Robbo = finished

Hf- BATE MORTON JURRAH Ff- WATTS MILLER MARIC/WONA The main points i was thinking with this forward line was balance, and players that contemplate each other, with a spice of magic and lead up play. First, Morton at CHF, I see Morton, with his safe hands, good read of the play and footy brain. Can lead up and roam into midfield, opening up corridor for watts and miller to lead into.. I can see him playing a Robert Murphy Type role, with great results! He's got a world of talent, no doubt. Miller works best from the square, is our ONLY player in one on one or to burst a pack, and will protect Watts, as miller is maligned but good footy brain. Bate and Jurrah both use space on flanks, Wona or Maric to crumb Watts and Miller, Martin impressed in last quarter against bombers, so he can be rotated thru to give watts and miller a rest, and with someone giving Sylvia, Green, Bruce and others running thru from midfield, i just thought the forward line needs some improvement, just wanted to know if anyone else has some ideas? Thanks guys. GO DEES! :-) Ps- robbo's confidence is shot, he's feeling the threat of his career falling away, by having him there, its almost a waste of time as we ALWAYS seem to go to him and ignore others, why kick it to a bloke who isn't positive?
