If we get two or three of these Thursday night games and also play Anzac Day Eve, QBD and a Round 1 blockbuster against say Collingwood and throw in one or two Friday nights, we're a massive chance to break our attendance record again.

With Beams allegedly requesting a trade back to Collingwood for family reasons (is it just me or is that a weak cop out - he used it to get out in the first place which is fine but now he's using it to get back?), Collingwood's midfield would be bloody good, but very old. They'd have that small window to win a flag, which I suspect they're well aware of with their aging list, but there's a bit of Geelong about them forming. Pendles, Sidebottom and Beams are all near the ends of their career. If they don't win it next year, I reckon they might have missed their chance with their current list.
